No room in our apartment to even run a small oval or circle. I keep tossing around the idea of making a small diorama or module. That and I need to get off my but and join the local club down here, NYSME.
I am in the same posisition I do have a 4X8 table that I have track on but no real layout I do have on room in the basement that I need to install lighting and carpet in and start to build the tables but nothing solid yet. My other problem is that I am rarely home long enough to get anything done.
I have a feeling that this will change as I may be looking for a company to drive for that I will be home alot more. This Freight hauling is quickly becoming a joke played on us drivers. The requirements are becoming more then I can stand and it seems that every new DOT law and rule makes it harder to make pay that enough to justify staying away from home to do this job.
well if there were outlets in the basement of our building i could probably build something small in our storage area. Its just a chain link fence for each apartment. The size is probably around 6x6 or so.
well now my newly adopted cat is preventing me from my hobby. already pusing my small display out of his way. Now I can't display my 36'' long bridge i just finished.
Kats have accidents all the time, especially around model trains
We have Kat hitmen that will take care of your "problem" for a very reasonable maintenance fee.
Josh, very nice job considering the locomotive is so ugly.
Steve, the green power thing was a sarcastic reference to the amount of money that's in the new bailout bill for green power. Cats do indeed seem to find a new place to lay down every day, usually on top of whatever you have that can break. You just need to put your bridge inside a plexiglass display box, firmly anchored to that shelf. Get an automatic reverser and then run your trains. It will drive the cat crazy.
