Metro Red Line

New Member
Just joined this forum. Just wanna say hi.

I'm 41, from Los Angeles, CA (my username is named after the subway line that runs a few blocks from my house), been modeling for 32 years. Started out HO scale but since 2006, I've followed the gospel of 1:160 and have accepted N as my personal scale.

I model modern-era Union Pacific, have a 4x8' layout set in Central California and recently got into DCC (Digitrax). If you're from Southern CA or are a modern-era modeler (any road, from any location) let me hear from you!

And if you frequent the other popular model railroad forums, yes, I'm the same Metro Red Line guy. :)

Welcome aboard, glad to have your input here too. Being on other forums is no problem here. Take care and enjoy

Welcome, Metro. Nothing wrong with the youthful zeal you have for N. In time, you'll see the bigger picture. LOL~~ :D Especially when your eyes reach the age of mine.

I have (treatable) glaucoma in one eye and a (mild) cataract in the other...but N scale still suits me just fine :)

I model what ever I want, i have my road set to present day but use engines ranging from steam to diesel and then some, including good ol steam from the US, UK and Germany. heck I have two engines dated back to teh western days (style) that one is a "Big 10", not sure what the 4-8-0 is tho...perhaps its a "Big 12"?? aside from that...a big hearty WELCOME from Kentucky....
