Hi Fergie, and WELCOME. I'm more of an "old lady who plays with her train" than a "modeler," but I have grand aspirations. :D I see you already know many of the guys here, so join the fun make yourself at home!

GM: We've got CJ now! :D :D FYI everyone: Photo by Grande Man
That was the pic that I looked for. I thought I had it on file, but not to be. Glad you posted the "x-pert". I hope to post the creek photos this evening or in the morning. I hope my photo software can cover up my mistakes :o .

KenL: Thanks for that photo link. My goodness, that H-6 is one beautiful piece of machinery.

Guess it is time to look for my nerve, heart, and lung pills. Kick-off in 1 hour. If Alabama loses to LSU, just send money orders in lieu of flowers, thank you.

Now where is that resuscitator?

Hi Fergie, and thanks, make mine a Moose
Moose6p.JPG
Guess your only about two gunshots down the road from me :D If you're ever plan to travel this way give me a call I live just off the 104 after the CBNS bridge across the hwy.
As a welcome photo I've uploaded a shot of the S&L #42, 2-6-0 Mogul built in 1899, the last I seen of it was in the Tibbit's Paint Co. yard. Tibbit's is long gone also.

LadyRail fan I thought of you today found a park bench that looked to be G scale . But you lost out sorry my wife saw it and it said Japan on the bottom so thats all it wrote she collects stuff made in japan imprinted on the bottom. And gee the price was right it was only a whole 50 cent piece for it LOL. Next time will hide from wife so you can have a park bench for you layout it even had a guy (wasn't with it but fit perfect) playing a banjo next to it

Heres a pic of the 2 items together the man was only anothe 50 cent piece so for a buck its real cute but wife says there hers now lol. Can't argue that one.

Hi everyone, Flo I need something REAL STRONG to drink.
Alabama lost today, but life goes on [ I think ]
Well.......at least I still got my trains.
Take care.

Stan.

Yeah Dang it, Bama lost! But at least it took an overtime to do it in! Flo, Give me a double of what Stan's having! Stan I'm buying this'un. You get the next round. We'll make Rex buy the rest!

Yuck! horrid taste Ah! Well to each his own.
That's a great shot of the Railink I can recall when the four of them came to the CBNS, I remember 4004 was around a long time with the doors open in the Stellarton yard. I downloaded your photo as I plan to model one or two of those critters.
Nice bench RT now LR will just have to find one :D

Yeah, might as well set'um up for everyone. Dang it!! I knew that if Bama didn't get their offense going we would be in serious trouble...it was just a matter of time. Oh, well! There's always next year (I sure am getting tired of saying that :D ). Besides, I might be able to survive the rest of the year now.

I posted the Gorge/Blue Creek pictures on the WPF. Hope you like'em. Also, I posted a couple of CjCrescent's handy work of some hand laying.

Bad night in Flatrock!

What's even worse Georgia just lost in the last minute to Auburn!   Auburn's gonna be tough next week. Wonder if my passport is in order?

Pour me another double there Flo! Gotta drown my troubles, (esp since I can't soak my feet in Blue Creek!;) ) Yeah thats right, 2 glasses of your best homemade Lemonade!:D :D :D

Good (early) morning guys, ;)

Well, I went to a train show today. I purchased a Micro-Trains CP Flat there, those a pretty hard to find nowadays. The show had lots of great MTL cars, if I had more money I would have bought more.

After that if was College Football. I didn't watch too much since PSU has the week off, but I still watched parts of a couple games. Then tommorow it's Pittsburgh and Cleveland, that's a must see for me. :D

Good Morning Ladies and Gents

Truly a cool one this a.m. as the bike ride in to work was brisk! temps are now down in the high twenties and a heavy frost covers the lawns.

Fergie, if the other engine on order is coming through Teffy, not much telling what color you will get  :D :D

I think Bob is quite content with pink and since he's still got some paint left over from the last job, I'd say pink is a safe bet!

Spent an hour and a half yapping with him last night. Tried to convince him to come on over to the "Dark Side". I'll have to do some more prodding:D

He's still cleaning up the mess from Rita.

Willis: I was up to Sydney two summers ago and walking around the entrance to the CBNS yard. I was hoping to talk to someone to get closer as many of their engines are, dare I say it, museum peices. If you're interested I have additional pics of Rail stuff on my rail images account at http://www.railimages.com/gallery/fergusfrancey

Anyway I have to get going as I here the coffee's just about finished dripping at the Cross Town CS

Later Everyone

Morning all, Sabrina large coffee please. I think I'll have three or four more cups, then I got to start painting, [ maybe ] Got to get off the computer first. :)

Rex - cj - BAMA can still hold their head high, best season we've had in a while. Looking foward to Saturday.

Stan.

Sabrina, nothing but a few Pepto Bismal tablets for me - I just consumed more than I can eat at a brunch buffet across the street and now I'm paying the price!

All you BAMA guys (Rex, CJ, Stan, GM) - as a Baltimorean I can feel your pain. It's tough rooting for the Best Team In The World when they don't show their greatness to "outsiders" ... (At least my 10yr-old daughter's soccer team won the league championship after going into double overtime on Saturday, little things mean alot!:) )

Speaking of daughters, Steve - that's a priceless image of little Gemma you posted! Brings back memories of my own "Tonka" days in early childhood. Those things were 100% steel in those days, man were they ever tough!

Fergie, thanx for posting that link to your railimages page - I've never seen JW captured on camera until now, or TEFFY without his ball cap on! (I'll have to give him a ring later this evening.) Oh yeah, about the color flap, RT spilled the beans, I didn't - so please don't send any bombers in my direction!

. . .
Have a great Sunday everyone!

Good Morning All, no frost here a nice sunny day 70F, funny the difference a few miles makes. Well! well! a pink 4-6-6-4 on the old S&L  don't remember that one ever passing the cottage, the S&L run right through our property by the lake.
Well just can't seem to get back into the model building mood but looking at some of the weekend photos I'm sure to get inspired.
