Eric - have you ever been tempted to dress-up Jessie in an orange-colored harness? :p :D

Ya know, a flying herald on each side and some orange stripes front and rear would look good. :D

WOO HOO!!! :D

Man, that game was a close one. Nothing like a field goal with <10 seconds left (Creepy, sounds like the Patriots now). It's a shame that Roethlisbergr (sp) is injured though, hope he returns soon, the Steelers offense isn't as good without him.

Anyway, back to regular non football talk (Till next weekend, that is ;) ). I have thought my cats would look with SP Nose Wings and speed lettering, but problem is they'd need to run through a bunch of mud puddles to get that authentic grimy look. :p

Anyway, I guess I'll get some sleep (I have school tomorrow :( ). Oh but first I'll have a Sierra Mist. ;)

Dog.

Big dog.

Very big dog.

Akita.

130 pounds.

Akita: Japanese-bred hunting dog. Japanese hunter takes two Akitas into the woods. No weapons. Comes home with two Akitas and a dead bear.

Did I mention big?

Mine likes birds. Catches them when they try to steal his food. Nobody messes with him. Actually a sweetheart. Except to birds. Loves our mail carrier because she always brings him a cookie. Doesn't know any Yiddish words.

Dug up a mole one day in the corner of his pen. To this day, whenever we put more food out for him, he takes a small mouthful of food, goes to that same corner and buries the food with his nose. I think he is setting traps for more moles.

Would love to fence in the back yard for him, but afraid he would go nuts with people walking in the alley. Fence would need to be solid and at least 6' tall. It would only be a deterent. He can clear 6' with proper motivation.

House dog is an overweight, paraplegic Yorkie. Yaps a lot at the big dog. He cocks his head and says, "What the hell-o is all THAT?" Yorkie loves to take walks in her doggie-walker. She's hell-o on wheels! She can't speak Yiddish, either.

Have pictures of both dogs, but too lazy to scan them to a post right now. Worked too hard all day re-wiring my brother's kitchen.

I'm not even going to comment on how many posts since the last time I was in. Modelbob may be lurking around here somewhere.......! Didn't know you could change the number of posts per page, but don't think I will. It's still the same number of posts, regardless of how many pages it takes up.

Chatted enough for now. I'll drop a bundle of cash at the register and you all can top up 'til it's gone. Sabrina, try to keep them in line for a while. I know, I know. Just do the best you can. Yes, I know musical squirrels can be annoying sometimes. Keep your chin up and don't wear any loose skirts.

Darrell, returning now to those thrilling days of ......quiet...for now

Good morning everyone, I will take a V8 for this morning.

Darrell, would like to see what this beast of yours looks like. Very clever if he is doing what you think with the food. Mine will take treats and try to hide them in the house, he pushes it with his nose, then seems to think the carpet will cover it by again using his nose to push imaginary dirt over it.

I got the iarbrush out last night to put some flat finish on my GP50 I did the otherday, I wanted to add some chalk to it, and the gloss on it was driving me crazy, also took a Kato SD40-2 apart to flat finish. My ony problem was the air from the airbrush blew the shells off the painting bock! Had to use tweezers. Need to work on how to secure them for painting. I was pretty happy with how the PollyScale Flat finsh went on, I like it better then dullcote, less smell, dries faster and I think goes on much more even.

Well everyone is gone, I think I will make the morning a model railroad morning. Then get my honey do's done, work on that Virtual Interchange concept, hope some of you guys will partake, and do a little project for ModelBob.

Sabrina, here's a $20.00 for those coming in later this morning.

Sabrina, a large cuppa joe and crumb cake for me (thanx Dave! ;) )

Well I just found out my supervisor is on vacation for a week, so, "When the cat's away..." [just KIDDING...! :p ]

Morning all!

Sabrina, put my large coffee on Dave's $20 please.

Ken, I know what you mean about your boss. Enjoy his absence. I'm going in late this morning for the same reason. ;)

Wish my boss knew what a vacation was hes 94 and never misses a day thinks nothing can get done unless he's there.

Well I did okay today sold a train set :D ebays fee was $30.75  :( Thats one year of a train mag thru subscription

Oh well better use some of that $20.00 Dave left so I can eat lunch ;)

Have fun will stop in later all

Hi All, i'll take a large Tea with some blueberry pie and cream i think, chears dave,
well the goop i mixed for the embankment has set like stone, all it wants now is some foliage to make it complete, nothing going on here so its an early night
later guys (and gals)

Good afternoon Flo!
I know it's getting late but my day is just starting.
Hows about a cuppa timmy ho's finest for the trip into work......... :D

Flo another huge Rasberry iced tea for me I am so thirsty make that a double. I have only had two bottles of soda today and my normal iced tea well today was not normal only had my quart jug with me instead of the 2 quart one.

David what i have done when painting my N-scale cars and locos is cut a pc of wood that slips inside of the shell or car. It is just snug enough to keep the shell or body from blowing around while I paint with my airbrush.

My bill for August was 30 times that :p No, literally...it was really 30 times that. But where else can you get that kind of exposure and traffic, and eBay has web features I could never dream of building myself...

Nate, I wish I'd have known about all those D&RGW hoppers you have on auction before they were listed. We could use some of those. I'll keep an eye on them as they get near the end of the listing.

Oh I agree but $30.75 at one shot not use to not complaining just commenting I could never of gotton that exposure and really its cheep freind who's opening a hobby shop said I could put it there for 10% of selling cost and we are small area it still would have been about twice that so I still got a deal selling and listing with them.

Yeah...eBay really does nickel & dime you to death, but it's hard to find anyplace else with the reputation and services they provide. Ask any American what eBay is and I'm sure 90% will know...in a report eBay emailed to Powersellers they said that 1/3 of all Americans visit eBay at least once a month. I could never dream of getting that much traffic on my own website, not to mention I would have to advertise to get people there to begin with. By the time I would pay for a website, invest my time in developing it, and pay to advertise in the magazines, eBay starts to look really good. My only main gripes are the under-developed desktop listing software, the sometimes very slow email support, and the aggressiveness with which they push PayPal...but I won't start on that now

Good morning everyone. Boy weather changes sure hurt those with arthritic back trouble :( Well I am still feeling like I am in the giving mood, so girls, here's $30.00 this time, take care of everyone and keep what's left amongst your selves.

Good Morning Dave and everyone!
Dave, you must have won the weekend football pool. Thank you! Flo, I will have coffee...straight up... and a sausage and biscuit.

I have been battling the cable company all this week. I am now up to management level today. The inside tech said Monday that the problem was outside (duh! I told him that when he first arrived since my neighbor has the same problem). An outside tech was supposed to arrive Monday afternoon and hasn't showed up yet. Boy! What a bunch of shade trees.

Ahh well, now is the time for a good cup of joe. C U later if I can get back on.

Dave, for a man in pain you're mighty generous! ;)

Flo, I'll have a large coffee and 2 eggs over easy...

Looks like I'll be spending the day Friday driving my 15yr-old daughter to eastern PA...or, rather, SHE'll be driving - she just got her learners'! On open interstate we'll probably be OK, as long as we don't have a large herd of deer suddenly dash onto the highway without warning [as happened on my most recent trip on rural I-70].

Eric, don't hold us in suspense: DID you get those hoppers on eBay?
