Ah was that the package in question? Anyone ever figure out where it vanished. These are the replacement's I got after the original's disappeared in the mail.![]()
Yes, and no, it's vanished into the black hole of Royal Mail I think, actually I reckon some thieving git had it away, bet they were really happy when they saw what they nicked.Ah was that the package in question? Anyone ever figure out where it vanished.
More likely just thrown it, I got a free replacement, so I'm happy.Who knows mate - they might just bring it back out of disgust![]()
What's the saying "give 'em an inch and they'll take a mile" some people just think if they give you enough bs, you'll back down, not the way I do business you don't. You stuff up, you pay up, simpleWow - sometimes it really does pay to put your foot down and be a bit of a hard butt.
I know Toot is always having a go at me because I speak out and don't/wont put up with incompetence and cwap; however, she likes the end results![]()
Yeah, thanks Mike, but what a pain that one was being at the back of the layout, hasn't helped that when I drilled the hole for the IR sensor I accidentally drilled through the wiring for that turnout you can see on the left, so tomorrow I'll have to repair that, hopefully I can just move the choc-block, if not I'll have to either try and solder it back together, or re-wire it back to the switch.looking good Chris!
Ah yes, the old 1 step forward, 3 steps back.Yeah, thanks Mike, but what a pain that one was being at the back of the layout, hasn't helped that when I drilled the hole for the IR sensor I accidentally drilled through the wiring for that turnout you can see on the left, so tomorrow I'll have to repair that, hopefully I can just move the choc-block, if not I'll have to either try and solder it back together, or do re-wire it back to the switch.![]()
pretty much yes.Ah yes, the old 1 step forward, 3 steps back.![]()
Red, Green and Amber for 3 aspect 4 aspect are Red, Double Amber and Green, Red and Green for 2 Aspect, there's no other colour combination you realistically can have on a RR, unless you build your own, in which case there's no limit as to what colour combination you can have.Do you have any other colors for your signal ? Red and green are too common.![]()
