Wow - sometimes it really does pay to put your foot down and be a bit of a hard butt.

I know Toot is always having a go at me because I speak out and don't/wont put up with incompetence and cwap; however, she likes the end results :)
What's the saying "give 'em an inch and they'll take a mile" some people just think if they give you enough bs, you'll back down, not the way I do business you don't. You stuff up, you pay up, simple

Got the second IR Block signal installed, only took me 2 1/2 hours, 1/2 install and 2 hrs to work out that the small shroud that fits over the emitter's was missing, find it and re-install the module (I thought the module/Signal mast was faulty, but as I had tested it all beforehand, thought I'd done something wrong)

Got 3 more modules on order, so hopefully I can get 2X2 Aspect and 1X3 Aspect mast's installed when I have a week off beginning of next month.

looking good Chris!
Yeah, thanks Mike, but what a pain that one was being at the back of the layout, hasn't helped that when I drilled the hole for the IR sensor I accidentally drilled through the wiring for that turnout you can see on the left, so tomorrow I'll have to repair that, hopefully I can just move the choc-block, if not I'll have to either try and solder it back together, or re-wire it back to the switch.:(

Ah yes, the old 1 step forward, 3 steps back. 😐

Do you have any other colors for your signal ? Red and green are too common. 🤣
Red, Green and Amber for 3 aspect 4 aspect are Red, Double Amber and Green, Red and Green for 2 Aspect, there's no other colour combination you realistically can have on a RR, unless you build your own, in which case there's no limit as to what colour combination you can have.
