Will have to look at those lights as well then. I have a heap of MT Heavy Weights that I'd like to light at some point.
Yeah, even tho' that's supposed to be warm white, but it was a bugger to fit as I had the same problem you had with the basswood, and I've had a rubbish day so I just fitted the nearest resistor to hand.Gotta luv yu neighbors huh Chris
That is certainly bright compared to the interior lighting which looks great . Do you think it might need to be toned down a little?
17 March has not been a good day for a long time, another year older, I hate getting old.I love working with wood but it does have its draw backs from time to time. I am sure you will get it looking perfect mate and don't let having a "rubbish day" get to you - there's always tomorrow to look forward to![]()
Thanks.Well, ahh - Happy Birthday" mate? I think and yeah, getting older is a real pain in the butt and knees and back and so on. I really try to ignore the numerical age thing though mate and just go by how I feel. Sometimes that is counter productive as well though![]()
Me too !I hate getting old
Thank's Tony, dimming that light makes a big difference. The light looks good mate and will be interesting to see how much of a difference bending it down ward a little makes to the intensity of the light
You could always mount it on the main wall instead of above the doorway.Nice thing about the second one, if it's a little tight at the top, I can always invert it, and it will still look good.
I thought about that, but it just didn't look like it belonged there, sort of, it looked like an afterthought that was just stuck on anywhere, if you get my meaningYou could always mount it on the main wall instead of above the doorway.
Hmm not sure about that myself. Sorry for my ignorance but what is it supposed to represent, if anything? Not sure I like this ground cover, my just make a dark wash, but I've a few hours to remove yet if not.

Honestly, I have no idea, just a gravel ground covering,it was something I wanted to try, but it's way too light, may just use some grass covering for the Machine shop areaHmm not sure about that myself. Sorry for my ignorance but what is it supposed to represent, if anything?
That's what I was thinking as well. Gravel ground cover would work, if you have some. If not yeah - good old grass always worksbut it's way too light,
