Not actually tearing down but more of a disassembly. My wife was reappointed to another church. ( She is a United Methodist pastor) From time to time pastors get reappointed. Although we were not ready to move, we feel that this is a great opportunity. We currently live in a church parsonage and that’s why I built my layout in manageable sections. My goal is to eventually reassemble this layout.
Our new church does have a parsonage but it’s going through major renovation and won’t be ready for some time. So after living in church parsonages for the last ten years we decided to buy a house again. That has been a real challenge. House prices are STUPID high. We eventually were able to find a brand new house that’s been vacant for a year that’s close to our new church. Fingers crossed that it all works out.
My layout will return. I’m actually thinking of doing some short videos every week or so on the progress. I was amazed at the number of views my latest cab ride videos generated. One has 33K views! Also my subscriber count went from maybe 30 something to almost 300. Very humbling. I might do one more cab video to record the changes. I cut down all my sides to track level. It looks great. (see pic) That’s all for now. If you read all of this, thank you. I’ll still visit the forum and keep you guys posted.
