A little bigger than what you guys are showing. Here are 3 of my 7 GP40-2L’s. They fit the scheme of the self layout very well

Finally the oldest and smallest diesel on the layout. A Christmas present from the then girl friend, now the wife. We were seniors in college so that would be December of 1973 as we graduated May of 74.

It does run but it was given to a friend who is installing lights and DCC but no sound.

I suppose this is my smallest steam locomotive. Walthers Proto 2000 USRA 0-8-0 with sound and DCC, late edition (gray box). It's unfortunate Walthers didn't make many P2K steam locomotives, this one is excellent, runs and looks good. Most of my power is diesel however, I just have a handful of steam locos for fun. I think my smallest diesel would be an MP15DC, but I don't have any pictures of that handy and it's packed away at the moment.

Here is a little 4-4-0 I picked up for the Kettle River Quarry. This closely resembles the locomotive that was dedicated to this location

This was a Union Pacific paint job I covered over to look more like the real thing. I only maksed the wheels and light and sprayed the rest.

Here is the prototype, from the "Kettle River Quarry" publication by the Sandstone Area Historical Society

The little Bachman was only $29 delivered from ebay and runs in forward reverse, little motor is in the tender. It runs extremely well considering the small size, light weight, and low price. The first time I placed it on the track it worked without any maintenance, which was a big suprise!

I don‘t have a layout yet, but in the meantime I improve and weather the locos I already bought. The smallest one in my roster is a „Köf 2“. I recently equipped it with a sound decoder, goldcap power pack, and lights. And I kept the interior completely free. This was quite a puzzle to fit all the components into this tiny machine.

Here is a quick photo of the Köf 2 next to a GP18 to get a better feeling for the size

The GP18 is a P2K model, equipped with sound and dcc couplers.
