That's a lot of Gabapentin. I don't think I came close to that dosage. I'm surprised you are still up and able. Tramadol does come with a warning about driving. Best to err on the safe side.
I thought so too, but I asked the pharmacist about it. She said that 1800mg/day was a normal dosage for many people, and she had many customers who are taking 2400mg - 2800mg/day. Note that this is a small town pharmacy, only one in town; and most of the other customers look older than me!

Good evening all......

No trip to Plano Texas for the train show.
I really wanted to go but energy level is at an all time low. My days and nights are upside down. I go to bed around 5:30 am, sleep till 9am, pee, go back to bed and sleep until noon. I get up, take a couple of pills, check e-mails, a couple of forums and e-bay. Some days its coffee or V8 juice Then around 3 pm I'm back in bed and sleep until 6 or 6:30pm. I'll have a small snack, then go turn on the A/C in train room, come back in and kill 30 more minutes on the confuser and then around 8 pm I'm off to the layout. I usually work until midnight, shut things down and then come in and fix a meal. I eat and watch YouTube videos or maybe catch an old movie and around 6 am I'm tired and off to bed.
Seems the only time I get anything done is working on the layout but last night I went out puttered around for about 30 minutes, couldn't find this or that so I shut everything down then came in and slept for another 2 hours before back up and watching TV.
I can just sit down and think about doing something and get tired. Seems I have about half the energy I had 3 months ago and it was going downhill then. Oh well, such is life. At age 78, I guess I'm blessed to still be up walking and talking even though my schedule would best suit a different time zone somewhere on the globe.
It is 8 pm now so off to the train room for another round of "hunt for what I bought 6 months ago because I knew then I would need it now".

Have a great evening....John

We drove down to Las Vegas last night. My daughter and her friend have a concert they wanted to attend. I dropped them off 90 min ago at the hotel (Virgin). With a few stops including gassing when we started, dropping some stuff to my son in Provo and some bad Friday I-15 traffic getting to Provo, and a gas and a other pee stop it was about 6 3/4 hours drive.

We’re not doing much besides my daughter and her friend going to the concert tonight.

We’re driving back home tomorrow. It’s still hot here. My watch said 93F but the car said 98-99F so in the city with all the concrete and asphalt it was close to 100F. That’s up from about 75F in the Salt Lake Valley when we left.

A couple pics for Michael.

Yeah, sounds like you are in my timezone. Is it because there's nothing good to watch or do during the day?

Uh, have to ask... you don't sleep hanging upside down, do you? :)

For those of you/us who don't live with their phone, are moving to or live in a metric country, and like instant gratification with instant answers, I offer these quick charts. I updated my F to C and added some common # to G weights. Included are wire, bolt, and fraction equivalents. It is a real pain in the axx when buying hardware and wires when you have to convert it all the time.

I had a surprising great day at the swap meet today. I walked in with 3 big dunnage tubs & a few cardboard boxes and walked out with barely enough to fit in half of tub. As usual there were a lot of dealers that were very proud of their stuff and all they did was "show" and not "sell". $25-$35 for Silver Streak, Ambroid, Blue Box, etc kits. I don't think they walked around to see tables with modern RTR Walthers, Atlas, Proto2000 (Bachmann), etc priced at $15 - $20. Yes, I know, their stuff and their rules. I had placed signs behind the freight cars and engines that said, "Reasonable Offers Will Be Considered." Very few made offers because I guess that I had them priced to sell. Half of one table was structures and all, but 2 sold. It was a feeding frenzy the first hour. I did bring back 4 of the 8 engines and the only thing I could think of why they didn't sell was because they weren't the era or the wrong RR.
So what stuff did you bring back? We are all wanting to drool at the stuff!
Well we both have been under the weather since our return to Arkansas, I think we picked up something on the airplane trip back, thankfully mine is low grade so I have been able to take care of us.
Beware of the cats, they are adorable bundles of evil.

While I was in the hospital, they had me on a low salt diet as I was on BP meds. A strange thing happened at lunch today when I made soup that I normally don't have a problem with. It was way too salty. Wife said probably due to the hospital food and I'm not used to it now. So, she'll probably try to keep me on that, which would probably be a good thing. I'll have to start taking my BP readings again as I stopped a while ago. It would be nice to reduce my lisinopril dosage back down from 20 mg that I'm on now to 10 mg.

Well, howdy there all you salty internet peeps (and salt-free types like Kuso)

It's Troy again

Just back from my near daily trip to the Grocery so I could get the thrill of riding the Jumbo hauler!

Yesterday, the wife had me torture some apples. 6 pounds of them....

Between us, we make one functional human. With her arthritis she has problems with hand and wrist, so it's my job to push the apples onto the prongs, turn the crank, pull the cores off the prongs, as well as opening all jars and bottles.

She does the bending and picking up of dropped items.

She put about 5 lbs worth in the dehydrator, so she has apple chips to snack on this winter.

The rest she made apple crisp with.

I came upstairs for my after dinner snack, and almost half of the apple crisp was gone!

She said she didn't have any ice cream to garnish with apple crisp, so she ate more of the apple crisp.

Hmmm.... that apple crisp is going to be gone before I get my second serving.

So this morning I went out to purchase ice cream. And I bought another bag of apples. Looks like I'll have to torture some more of them.

Good morning. It’s 43f now maybe 72 later.

Grandson has a soccer game at 12:30 locally

Terry turns 75 today and no idea yet where we will celebrate with dinner

Train show yesterday for me was a bust. I was looking specifically for storage tanks for 2 paper mills and 3 small town bulk oil distributors. What was there made my costs for 3d printing reasonable! I like to scratch build the tanks but the 3d ones look better overall.

Enjoy the day

Good morning all!

A cool 55F and mostly cloudy this morning. Temps will rebound some and go up to 74F.

Have a busy day today. Not much got done yesterday around the house with Homecoming activities. Wife already has the laundry started and
I am heading to the store for the weekly grocery trip. I also have to mow today when things dry out.

Better get cracking!

Have a safe day everyone!
