Yeah, it's pretty sad actually. I wish it was a short visit, but they're keeping me for a week. I gotta be face down during that time, which is going to be difficult with my neck and shoulder issues, so we'll see how that goes. Taking a thick towel to form a cradle.

As for the ashes thing, there is a law out here called abandonment of a corpse, which doesn't make sense as people pay the temple to have a stone temple thing that the urns are placed into. If the people refuse to pay, then the temple takes the urns out, places them into a big room and the stone temple thing is thrown away. I guess if the temple is still in business, the urns are not abandoned, but the family did. Anyway, whatever.

Yes, lots of web crawlers! I'm monitoring performance though and it's holding up well.

There's a lot of fine tuning needed to not block out the good crawlers yet ban the bad ones. We want to be on Google. But we don't need every bot there is crawling the site. Also trying to block the scammers too of course.

Grand Haven is where I am originally from. I have relatives in the cemeteries there..
 
Washing new sheets this afternoon. Because someone washes and put the same set back on the bed, the wife thought we needed another set. I said we have another in the closet. She asked why I don't rotate them in so we're not on 1 set. I told her because I don't like folding sheets. Easier to wash and put back on the bed than to break out the other set and fold the first set. Now I still have to fold a set... 🤣

That is exactly what I do.
I have a set of cotton flannel sheets for winter and regular cotton sheets for summer. I do have a back-up set of both folded in the closet.
I'm single and folding sheets is wasted time for me.

Same thing I do. I have other sets, but why work harder if you don't have to?

The hospital discharged me about 1130 this morning. Doing OK, but still going to be sore on the lower right quadrant for another week to two. Still have an abdominal drain that will be pulled on my surgical follow-up next Wednesday. Hoping the Foley catheter is pulled in two weeks.

After a little internet doctor digging, two weeks is about the average time to have to have the Foley after minor bladder trauma.

The appendix was perforated, but the infection it spread was not wide-spread and was easily controlled. My white cell count decreased every day until it was 7800 this morning and well within the normal range. I'm still on anti-biotics for three more days in horse pill form. I'd almost rather still have the IV Piperacillin every eight hours than have to swallow these huge pills three times a day.

I was told to take it easy, like I do every day, no grass cutting, no lifting more than 10 pounds until I see the Dr. again, and eat up all of these anti-biotics.

Terry puts the next set of sheets out that she wants on the bed. I strip the beds and add them to my laundry.i then make the bed with the new set! She will pull them out of the dryer and fold. I make the beds daily and every thing is switched on Friday. I have no clue how many linen sets we have. I put on what is set in each bedroom. All queen size beds.

Nurse came by and gave me the shpeel and all is good. Lunch was curry rice which was good. They gave me a menu, which has good stuff. I gave the wife the custard dessert since I don’t eat that stuff.

The internet is fast enough to watch the youztube so it won’t be too boring. Not sure when I will be able to do anything since I have to be face down for a while. I’ll figure something out.

I didn’t see biscuits with mayo and ketchup, but I’ll get by haha
