Today, I am nervous about glueing track to the layout. The next step is glueing the tunnel track and I am nervous about getting it right. I'm afraid to have it in the wrong position and screwing things up.

Any recommendations for the best way to glue Kato unitrack?

Another fine pitching performance from the thirty-five-year-old veteran Kyle Gibson. He is now 15-9 and showing the baby birds how to be a big-league starter.

The Buffalo Bills are in full stride. They have moved past not being fully ready for the regular season.
Buffalo 37 - Washington 3

The Ravens made too many mental mistakes to win against a solid performance by the Colts and their veteran backup quarterback.
Colts 19 - Ravens 16 in overtime.
Ow! That's got to hurt, the Irsays beat the Ravens in Baltimore, no less. In addition, the Caps lost to Buffalo in pre season hockey action, 4 - 3,in a shootout. If it's any consolation, the Giants and Jets both lost this week...and...the fish are back. 3 - 0 Miami, over the Denver Broncos, 70 - 0.:eek::eek: Mets @ Phillies 6PM.

Good Afternoon All!

59F @ 60% and partly

Wife wanted a day to rest her body. I was easy and agreed. Decided to go train chasing as that is not much work.

Posted over in Prototype Railroads - CtcLibbyPix. Take a gander if you wish.

Looks like someone had time to kill. Can you say 'busy work'? These are from East Riverview which is about 25 miles out of Libby. So it either had to be a railfan waiting or maybe a BNSF Maint Guy/Gal.

I almost put that spike laying on the ground by itself on the top of the stack, but heard rumblings and wanted to setup for a few shots.

Tomorra we are going to Ponderay for sheet rock, another 10 2x4x8's and a roll of 16" R19. Lunch too.

Afternoon all,

Busy day. Got the bathroom prepped and first coat of paint. Took longer as I pulledvthe floor trim CAREFULLY as I have to pull the trim for when we get the flooring in a couple of weeks. I'll replace it anyway as it's not very much and I have the stain and lacquer already.

You never realize how dirty a room that doesn't get much use can get.

Also got anther couple of loads of misc laundry as well. Just been a busy day.

Use caulk, so if you do make a mistake, its easily taken up and repositioned. It holds very well too, and easily cleaned up, Don't go nuts with it.

I use Dap Alex. Make sure to use clear.

Use double sided tape to hold the track in place in a tunnel.
Easy to reposition before pressing down to secure in place.

I never bothered to fasten down my Kato (HO) Unitrack (MR "Black River Jct." plan).

There are enough "under track" wires for Unijoiner track power feeds and leads to the powered switch machines, that the track pretty much just "stays put" as it is. The wiring "anchors it down".

I also like the fact that if I want to change the track layout a little (have made adjustments and modifications over time), NOT having it fastened down is a real "plus"...

For me, a loss is a loss. I liked Bob Irsay. I blame Schaffer, Harry Hughes, and John Stedman more for the Colts leaving than I do Bob Irsay. One lie after another about a new stadium coupled with personal attacks in the newspaper. It's no wonder the Colts left.

I went through a period of animosity towards the Colts. I could not sustain it. I find it hard to route against the Blue and White, but not when they play the Ravens!

The Ravens have only themselves to blame for this loss. One mental error after another, coaching and players. The last two minutes of regulation were just ugly!

My father grew up in Baltimore, born in '50. He was still a Colts fan even after they left Baltimore. He didn't believe in teams moving and being a different team. He always thought the Ravens were the Browns.

He didn't have a good answer for me when I asked him about the O's being the St. Louis Browns. :D He loved the Orioles, always listened to games on the radio.

I agree with J.Albert and David, I don't glue my Kato track. Between the many feeders, switch wires and ballasting the track doesn't move.
