Must be another one coming since we have ten kids/grandkids all together.
I would have your wife paint you an ad sign to put a top one of your building saying Willie's Vinyl Records or something to that effect. Swal

Try setting CV2 to 1, CV 3 to 165, and CV4 to 65.
Sorry for late response. Keyboard died and had to be recharged. Anyhoo, I use 128 speed step and ended up setting speed step 1 to 0 and 28 to 135 for the max speed. Then I set CV216 to 2 and CV3/4 to 80. I may increase CV3 to allow the motor sound to ramp up a little bit more.

Good morning. It’s been a rough night. Terry’s fine but I’m not. I thought I had turned the corner but yesterday after 6 till now has been a struggle. Constant cough, sore throat and the usual crud when I get a cold but so much worst! Not sure why as yesterday afternoon I was feeling pretty good. Now worst than I felt Tuesday when I got a shot and more meds

This getting older stuff is getting old!

Willie tell your wife those cards are outstandingly. Hallmark worthy

Out on the loveseat in the great room and slept from 1:30 to just before 4. Tried the bed, even propped up but came back to the love seat. I know I slept somemore but right now I am broiling and thinking of a quick shower just to cool down. I’ll be calling the clinic at 8 when they open! Fun!

I doubt I’ll see the bench today!

Good Morning All!
36F @ 78% dark.

@santafewillie Great pictures on dem cards! Tell your wife Kudos!

@TLOC So what type of shot? Do hope ya feel better.

Deer mating season AKA 'The rut' - usually does not start around here until a week after Turkey Day.

Lied yesterday, Maria wanted to wait until today for our grocery trek and didn't find out until after posting. She and Angela have stuff to do trying to get A's paid storage spot gone. She has had it for at least 8 years now, same stuff, nothing changed. It always amazes me - pay $40 a month to store a bunch of little crap probably worth < $100. Ya there is some big stuff for her kids and she has been working on them getting here and picking it up - that is turning into a real pain. Time to toss? Got a wedding dress hanging in the dining room destined for Ashlynn. No, not yet - she is barely 18. Did not realize how $$$$ those things are. $2500 for this one 20 years ago. Glad Maria is/was more down to earth when we got attached at the hip. Blue jeans, sweatshirt and flip/flops in the back yard, almost the same next day in Spo for friends.

Setting up for my BDay dinner in December. There is nothing but crap around here for steak/prime rib so the plan is off to Eureka, 70 miles North for motel, dinner and breakfast. Bar is across the parking lot from the motel, so that is good. There used to be great places here, but have gone to sh.t. Tough meat, crappy service, high prices. ( Welcome to Libby ) . We have not been on a road trip for quite a while, other than the st00pid medical stuff, so we are looking forward to it.

Y'all getting the same crapshoot of political ads? Mail box is knee deep with them and I don't even want to talk about messages on Cell's. Can't block them all even though I try. Ads on the boob tube are one after another targeted for Montana; even the same add running twice/thrice in a row. Thanks Amazon and Sling!

Sorry, rambled.

Willie - Your wife has an amazing artistic talent!

Tom - Unfortunately that shot will only work on bacterial infections. If you have a nasty virus it will take time and rest. The amount of stress you've been under hasn't helped your immune system either. I'm wishing the best for both of you.

Good Morning All. Clear and 57°, heading back to 82° again today.

Thanks for all of the responses to the posts of my wife's Halloween card art. I'll pass them all along this morning. Thanksgiving ones are next once she starts. I just wish that I could convince her to do some landscapes on the backdrop out in the train shed.

Not much to report from the SFW estate yesterday, seemed like a lackluster day.
Today though, is the weekly grocery trek. List is fairly long and wife is definitely going since this week is 25% off all wine when purchasing 6 or more bottles. On top of the normal 10%, that makes 35%...too good to pass up! Dishwasher also awaits me.

Nothing new to report from the train shed yesterday. I ran trains instead of modeling.

Kevin - I've been remiss in not sending my best wishes to you on your back issues. Hope that it resolves itself real soon.
Kusojiji - Yes, now there is a pill used for colonoscopy prep; at least here in the states.
Tom O - Oh no! Not another setback. Get well soon and I continue to send best wishes to both of you.

Kind of an old-timer, but Franz Liszt was born on this day in 1811. Eddie Brigati of the Young Rascals is 81 today. Leslie West, guitarist/vocalist for Mountain and solo, is also 81 today.

Everyone have a great Thursday.

Deer mating season AKA 'The rut' - usually does not start around here until a week after Turkey Day.
Todd: Here in Jersey Thanksgiving is when the rut ends. When I worked SA31 on the Amboy Secondary, from about now until the night before Thanksgiving, we had numerous encounters with single deer and herds running across or along our path. When we returned to work on the Monday following Thanksgiving, nary a one was visible. Of course that Monday coincided with the opening of deer season. Never got one with a locomotive until I was at Amtrak, and hit one at 110 MPH.

Willie: Mrs Willie does beautiful work with watercolors.

Tom O: Take care of yourself too, while caring for the wife. Age catches up with all of us.

Going to be a fantastic day. Sunny and 65°. This morning registered 39° at the Reservoir.

Gotta go - Echo C in two hours.

Well, howdy there internet peeps and those with good piddelers

It's Troy again.

Had to toss an old throw rug we use as an entry mat.

Lord Fuzzbutt has been remaining on the main level of our 3-level townhome. Wife refuses to have a litter box on this level, because of our hard floors with throw rugs, and tracking cat litter on her socks or bare feet. Won't do it.

And the cat is only using the box to poo.

When he gets arthritic, he associates the box with his stress.

So, he's getting his probiotic calming powder on his food.

I've got the River store delivering a bag of Urinary health cat food today to start mixing into his daily kibbles to try to keep the acidity down.

And we broke out the puppy piddle pads.

That's the new entry mat to the left. The poody-tat piddle pad, and the big jug of urine odour remover I picked up this morning.

The only thing we can figure is the stress of his dental work, losing six teeth, and the change in the seasons has him all buggered up.

So, we adjust, and make it as easy as possible for him, but NO litter boxes on the main level. (Yes, dear!)

Meanwhile, I've got one of the 5x3ft rugs we use on the landings hanging on the fence, with the first application of Odour-remover applied. I have an unused garden sprayer. I may mix a gallon up per the directions, and use the sprayer to save my trigger finger from overuse trying to saturate the rug.

Off to my last PT appointment in 40 minutes.

More later.

Good morning. 51°F at 0840 this sunny day. Another 73°F day today. Sitting in the back yard yesterday was wonderful. Plan on doing it again today. I don't expect my visitor from yesterday to be back for another visit today, but you never know around here.

Haircut at noon today. Originally it was 1300, but I knew she'd call back and change it. Since she started doing appointment only, I've never made an appointment that didn't get changed. Right at my normal lunch time. Well, I'm retired so what's another hour to eat?

Have a great Thursday!

Servus!

Morning all,

Hit the ground running when I got to the office this morning. I had to do a SQL server data pull to get to a vendor.
We're updating our Municipal Court and for some reason, the install\upgrade team can't access the database that the support team gets into often. Same company, go figure.

Then I started the updates on the servers I can do early.

Currently 56° under sunny skies and a high later of 80°. About 11° above normal for this time of year.

Willie: Your wife does great work!

This must be the week for home improvement repairs.

Woke up yesterday morning and turned on one of the kitchen ceiling lights. Blinked once and went out. Hoping it was one of
the three way switches. Turned off the breaker and took the switch covers off and checked continuity . Both switches good.
Afraid of that. The fixture is a 19" round LED surface mount fixture. A couple of years ago during the middle of the night it
came loose and fell to the floor. Good thing nobody was underneath it at the time. It mounts by holding it up against the
mounting bracket and then rotating it. Not wanting for it to fall again, I cranked it all I could-hopefully it would not loosen
up. Well, guess what----I couldn't unloosen it. Finally ended up cutting through it with a hand grinder. Spent a lot of time
pondering what I could do. In my younger years I would yelled 4 letter expletives and physically beat the fixture into
submission. Now that I've mellowed out and get tired a lot quicker, it turned into a whole afternoon job. Had to go the Hartford,
Ct. (30 miles away) to get a replacement . The original lasted 8 years, well constructed. The store still had my information
even though they recently updated to a new computer system. The original fixture was warranteed for 5 years. Got my money's
worth.

After supper I noticed water in the cabinet under the kitchen sink. Wasn't going to tackle another project-can wait until the
morning. I have a rubber mat with a lip on the base of the cabinet. Took everything out from the cabinet after breakfast.
The leak was coming from the garbage disposal flange attached to the the sink drain. Occurred previously. The bolts that
hold the flange loosen up over time due to vibration. Not a bad repair but have to drop the garbage disposal which weighs
a ton. A have some 2x 6 x 4" blocks that I've made up for jobs like this. A couple of blocks and a crowbar made it relatively
easy to lift the disposal back up to tighten the retaining ring.

Maybe I should audition for a job on "Ask This Old House".

Todd, They gave me a real old fashion penicillin shot and than a Z pack of pills for 4 days. I went to the hospital/clinic’s staff doctor on Tuesday morning while they were doing tests on Terry

Good morning all!

Our great weather stretch continues again today. Currently its a sunny 59F. High for today is 75F.

Nothing really pressing happening yet this morning. I have my second load of laundry in the dryer. I already have the dishwasher emptied
and have started filling it with breakfast dishes.

Tonight is pour last volleyball game of the season, and the best part is it is at home so no travel involved.

Have a safe day everyone!

We've had less than 2" of rain, in the last 90 days. We are exceptionally dry for the so called "moss covered" state of Oregon. It's also been one of the warmest Fall's I can remember.

The good news is that my Fall crops have been doing great. I've started to harvest Buttercrunch lettuce, Tuscan kale, and my Italian sweet peppers are still producing/ripening. My sweet peas should be ready to pick in about a week or two depending on the temp. To top all this off I am still getting a big handful of strawberries once or twice a week....never happened this late before either.
