Eye doc appt went well. Got on the train a little after 8, got a seat, transferred once for a short jaunt to the hospital. Got there a little after 9 and was out by 12. Doc was very reassuring and answered all of my concerns and questions. My issues are normal and my visual accuity is slowly coming in. When they did the test, I could see which way the C was (up, down, sideways) for most of it, but got two wrong. When they put the lenses in, that cleared it up immensely. Big difference from 2 weeks ago when even the lense didn't help.
So, I can get back to normal routing in 1 week, which will make it 4 weeks since the surgery. Change the eye drop prescription and only apply 3 times per day vice the 9 that I was on, which I think I can remember. He said I could probably drive, but I'm going to hold off on that until the right peripheral issue lessens a bit more. So the poor wife will have to ferry me around a bit more.
While we were getting ready to pay for the visit, the earthquake alarm went off 3 times. My phone didn't start screeching and my wife told me that the Yokosuka emergency system got hacked and is now off-line. Then an update from the TV that was on said that the earthquake alarm was in error, so probably hacking again. Glad that it was because we still needed to jump on the train.
