Willie: >"Yes it was. I think that her concerns regarding the potential scar are a bit overblown, but most women are obsessive about their looks"<

Had that in March, Surprisingly, cannot see any scar or other evidence of the surgery 8 months later. Was on the temple just behind the eye. Tell her to use the recommended moisturizer cream, once the dressing comes off.

Wife and I split a two meat plate at Sonny Bryans BBQ in terminal E. She took the smoked sausage and Mac-n-cheese, I got the brisket and fries. It was good. M&C was ok. Fries were good, with BBQ flavored salt added.

Are you sure you didn't have a minor stroke?
I sure hope not. I just had a neurological exam and all those tests came back good. No bleeds, cancer or clots. I had it earlier when I was on the strong meds. Since I am not taking the stuff that I was on for the past 5(?) years, doc said that it might take a little while to come down from the effects. Maybe withdrawals?

As much as I want one, I'm afraid that would be the fate of mine as well.

Kind of like going all gung ho on the Fastracks turnout building. I bought all the jigs and filing tools. They have been sitting in the
basement for several years and I haven't built one turnout yet with them.
Send me the tools I’ll build the switches for you and return them when it’s done

Good evening folks, getting ready to go belly up. Did my commissary run this morning and decided to do a walk around the park on base, near the commissary. Did two laps, which turned up being around 1.5 miles. Got 10 pull ups in at the half-way point. Bought my food and started the drive home. Started feeling lost, and saw some weird stuff in the right side of my right eye. Took some time to ensure I wasn't getting ready to pass out and drove home.

Yeah, didn't feel too good all day, but kept busy. Wife wanted to put the black sheet on the raised garden since I complained this morning about the feral cats visiting my newly tilled dirt. So I laid a new layer of black sheet and tacked it all in. Then it was back on my perch trying to stay up.

I think I need to start moving more.
Sorry to offer up this but. I had those same feelings twice in late July 2024. Did nothing just felt weaker after each time. 1st of August I wake up in the hospital. I had a stroke

Check it out

Sorry I replied to the message you mentioned the issue. Then came back to continue reading all the postings

Has anyone here used the Clever Models products? Textures on paper. The masonry product sheets from JTT are prohibitive for the amount we need for the paper mill. No one makes the corrugated siding we want to use either. But Clever Models has a few to choose from. If it was only 12” or so I’d scribe the mortar lines but it’s at least 12’ maybe more. I’m already going to scratch build the windows so I don’t need another finicky project

Yet, somehow it is! 🤣

After going DCC 10+ years ago, I'm still falling!
I'm the same. I thought I was going to quit doing this but I find myself getting dragged in. I keep buying decoders, adding lights, thinking of ways to make a cleaner install, using my 3D printer to make tools, jigs, mounting stuff for the LEDs, etc. Rabbit hole, money pit, you name it! :)

I just received the decoder for my Scaletrains GP30. It has a whole bunch of lights that do not work on DC, so I want to get that going. Bought the one that they recommended in their manual and hope I can find all the lighting functions during programming.

Right now, I've been teetering on getting a cheap loco - A Hornby Sentinel 0-6-0 that I thought I'd never buy - just to see if I can add lights and a decoder to it. Been watching a bunch of old reviews on it to see what kind of space there is inside, how to take it apart...

Yeah, I'm hooked.

yeah, it leads you to things like buying crap toilet trains and wagons to try and put a decoder and speaker in!
