Almost to the day I was released from the hospital after my 4x bypass in 2010 I developed eczema behind my right knee. It itched so badly I'd sometimes make it bleed. I used Cortizone-10 for years just to keep it in check. Every day, sometimes two or three times a day I'd rub this stuff on.

And then one day it was gone in late 2024. 14 years I put up with this and no doctor could do anything to get rid of it. They told me it was due to an overactive immune system, which they also explained is why I don't usually get sick other than a mild runny nose and sneezing occasionally. I haven't had the flu since 2004, and not much of a cold to speak of in 30 years.

It's been great not itching and scratching for the last year. I hope it stays gone. I hope this isn't what you have either, because there's no telling how long it will last. The doctor said some people have it all of their lives, and others it might bother them for a week.

RhB: I have not had the flu since my last flu shot circa 1978. No sniffles or sneezing; aka cold since we got rid of the carpets in the house. Well, did get a slight dose of covid, but pretty lite and did not last.

I like my homemade sauerkraut the best, but I haven't seen cabbage on sale cheap enough to entice me to make it. I'm always trying different brands. Surprisingly, a few store brands are fairly good.

I eat a lot of sauerkraut. I have 64oz in the pan with the brats. I'll eat it every day until it is gone. Three-four days at the most.

I'll buy Silver Floss for thanksgiving, its naturally fermented, but like most it is also pasteurized. It is too late to make my own for thanksgiving.

The ads I see are mostly eBay though I’ve only stopped by there like once recently and then I checked something on swimoutlet.com and now every add is from there.

Don't click on *those* types of ads. Mostly stuff that happen to be akin to something we are doing or want.

It finally started sprinkling after the radar showed rain here since 0430. So an opportunity to show some more pictures from TrainTastic, the model railroad museum that we visited in Gulfport MS on our recent vacation.
Moving into the layout rooms, the first layout to greet us was an On30 holiday themed layout.

Across the aisle is an HO scale European layout. The trains were not operating on it the day we visited, and most of my pictures did not come out very well due to the light and distortion from the storefront window behind it.

During my foray through the place, I focused more on scenery than trains, as that's most of my interest right now.

Plant these and you will be able to make as much kraut as you desire.

Capitals lost to the Islanders last night 3-1.....I think that's three losses in a row. They suddenly look flat.

Have to get X-rays of my right hip now...not happy...project for next week, along with lab work :confused: Two more cans of worms being opened.
 
I went on my mini walking adventure this morning. I found out one thing a lot of people use the former NH railroad rail trail. You meet someone every 2 minutes on the trail. Walkers, Joggers and Bikers. I did not bring my sand wedge with me ready to hit a bear over its head if need be. I walked at a brisk pace which some people claim is around 4 mph. I started walking at 9:40 am and after reaching the NH bridge started back returning at 10:36 am. With minute or to two to take a photo. I figure that's about 53 minutes to cover the distance of, I guess 4 miles. I seen these strange stones, maybe mile markers every so often. I have no idea other than that what they were used for. I returned back to my starting point after reaching where the NH railroad crossed over the New York Central in Towners, NY that would be a few miles north of Brewster NY. A few photos of the walk are posted below.

Yeah I don’t know if they’re so scantily but those seem to be the default. Mostly “celebrity” women in poses and dressed to be suggestive (but not necessarily “scantily”.

That’s where the Japanese resin figures that had to be pixelated were mixed in with (also from eBay).

Because I had to check the details in a tech suit my daughter bought but never wore and wants to sell, I’m now getting endless women in swim suits. Mostly tech suits or competition suits.

I wonder if I go to Magpul and Rainier Arms and D Ariel Defense and H&K sites if I’ll start getting better ads in the forum here.

Yet another rainy day, no white yet. Don't know where Ima gonna start today. Expedition needs front pads, and there is a s-l-o-w leak in the left rear tire. Planning on rotating front to back so will check the back pads while I am at it. Right front Tractor tire also has slow leak. So it might have to wait until Monday so I can get them to the tire guys. Started on the insulation for the Chick/Goat house yesterday. Had 9 rolls of R13 for 2 x 4 16" center we picked up on the cheap that Maria has been installing. Need 7 more rolls and something for the roof joists. Need to help her with that also. After that is installed, OSB on the inside, paint then on to the electrical stuff she wants/needs.

These 3 or 4 stones I came across on my walk. I wasn't paying much attention until I realized they all looked alike. I know from being a railroad engineer we had concrete mile posts up and down the line with Grand Central Station being 1 and for example the town I was born in Pawling NY 64. This NH line was built in 1889. Could these stones be the mile posts of that time. Next time I walk the trail I'll set up my phone to let me know how far apart they are to each other. Anyone here have any ideas on this? Swal
