Here is a fantastic video of the move of all the Union Pacific equipment to Silvas shop for restoration etc. It is kinda sad about how this is happening but it is a win win situation from what Ed Dickens says. The Challenger and the TTT 2-10-2 UP 5511 along with a ton of other equipment.

EDIT:

If you are on Facebook...... Search for the group called "Union Pacific's Overland Route" you will see the video by Dereck Howell.

His description is as follows:

WB mixed met the UP special move at Archer. The train stopped to check temperatures of the axles. All was good at this stop but things didn’t go so well a few miles down the road.

TomO notice all the center beams on the end of the train also all of the 2-bay hoppers on the first freight train that passes by before the 2nd train comes.

Willie, this is an example of the car puller I was referring to. It's N scale. Showcase Miniatures.

I take D3 and Balance of Nature pills every day. I think the Balance of Nature pills work because I'm up at 5am work until 6pm every day and I'm 76 years old. I only have 1 cup of coffee in the morning and 1 cup of green tea later in the day. So it's not caffeine that's driving it. They say that your parathyroid glands regulate the amount of vitamin D3 your body needs. Have one of these 4 glands malfunction and they'll be D3 problems. I had one of these glands remove because of this. The other 3 will pick up the slack.
Swal
No problems with the parathyroid or the thyroid. They are gone, lost to cancer. O the meds are my replacements. The D3 definitely helped after I started taking them

Centerbeams. Good afternoon from the Cheesehead state wherebthis Morning I made the pilgrimage to Trainfest in Milwaukee. The plan was to meet up with Mike inHubcityy anda few of the guys I have done weathering for.

My phone died about 2 hours into the show. I was there just under 4 hours. Missed Mike, sorry Mike. 3 of the guys will be there Sunday, but my latest Centerbeams and some previous pulp cars were running around the Wisconsin and Michigan layout. Cool to see.

I am not a Kalmbach fan but kudos to them for reviving a Show we thought was lost. When you sponsor the show, yes your booth can be right inside the entrance to the exhibition hall

They didn't tell you about the parathyroid and its job to regulate the bodies D3. You have 4 of these glands only one does the job regulating. Remove one and one of the others will take over but you have none. I'm not sure how that works.

James- You will become a Damn Yankee in Alabama.
A regular Yankee comes south as a visit and a Damn Yankee comes south and stays.
I have been in Alabama over 60 years, but I am a Damn Yankee, too.

Mikey
I have been around, I lived in 5 different states through out my life and career I even lived in Ontario, Canada for a time as well. The states I lived are as follows NY, Wisconsin, Florida, North Carolina and Arkansas. I actually have a bonafide southern accent that I acquired with living in the south for 35 plus years. Folks up here think I am strange in these parts of the foot hills of the Adirondacks. I don't pay them no mind either. LOL I am as country as ya can get with a mix of hill billy redneck backwoods cowboy huntin fishin sumthin I don't give a !@#$ where ya from guy just don't cross me or disrespect my mama!

My best buddy of 35 years lives in Hoover, Alabama (we went to college together) and I am the Godfather of his 3 sons. I love them as they are my own. I frequent there a couple times a year. I know Bama well. Fished a lot of the lakes there. Lay lake, Gunterville, Pickwick and Eufalla to name a few....

Well, that's me done for the night, nearly 1.30am and I've decided my brain definitely needs a break. I realise this because I've just spent an hour swapping out one end of a caboose coupler for a KD, and realising at the end it would have been easier and quicker if
A) remove the truck first, and B) first fit the coupler and gearbox together before trying to glue it to the buffer beam, Duh!!!!!

'Nite folks.
