During my recovery from the multiple burglaries a year back I happened to stumble across a folder with some drawings I did back in college (I studied pre-architecture, aka Environmental Design), and I thought I might post a dozen or so if no one minds a bit of personal spamming.

Way out of practice now, but could draw pretty well then, I think.

Most "popular" games need Windoze to run. There are several reasons for that, but that can be a topic for another day.
What games are you wanting to play? Some are more graphically-intensive, and you'd need a laptop with a higher-end graphics card. Some are more processor-intensive, so you'd need one with a good processor. If you're buying new, try to get one with 32GB of ram, and at least a terabyte of storage.
Without boring everybody with the details, all the data centers being built are gobbling up all the memory manufacturing capacity for both ram and storage, and prices are insane for them.
As for brand or type, I'm partial to Lenovo products, just be aware they make many different submodels that may or may not be what you want. The one I have is a Legion 5 Pro, with the latest Ryzen 9 and RTX 5070 with a 240hz refresh rate QHD+ screen.

This one made me laugh (not even remotely model railroading related, but still...funny...in a sad way):

Ferrari has introduced a new car, a full EV named the "Luce." It's being pretty widely panned by the Ferrari faithful, and (in a more reserved way) by former Ferrari top executives. Luca de Montezemolo is one who's opinion of the car is...rather dim. And not just because he dodged a bullet either--he quite rightfully would have burst a blood vessel (or three hundred) had they named it the "Luca," and not the "Luce."

In any case, the internet has been having some fun with it too, particularly in comparison to the recent self-immolation ad campaign authored by Jaguar.

Thus this version of the "new" Ferrari logo:

Kinda reminds me of another, older "revisionist logo" which showed up on the internet some years back (when the NFL went all soft-and-squishy):

The Denver Broncos had their own prancing horses: The earlier "horse inside D" and the more recent "head only."

The internet conjured up another, that almost made me bust a gut at the time: The Broncos "My Little Pony" logo.

To say I had to laugh would be an understatement.
