Good day to all..............

I haven't bought gas in a month but back then it was $4.09 a gal in my nearest town. I filled up in Wichita Falls Tx at $3.49 a gal and I'm still running on that tank. While gas may drop a bit now for a while, you can bet it will go up again right before before 4th of July and Labor Day.

Today is national "Hamburger Day". Some burger joints are running specials.

My son is coming to visit later today and bringing BBQ sandwitches from a place in Lindsey Texas. Their BBQ is uuummmmm good.
No hamburger for us. And of course I told him I would reimburse him for the costs. I'll probably send him home with some $$$ for his gas just because I love my son. Visits now are pretty special as I get older and he has about a 150 mile drive one way. He has to be back home in time to go to work Saturday night so Friday is our big day.
Its nap time now as my son will be here later and I need to be awake.

I am going to light a few of my buildings and I will be using "buck" boards instead of resistors. I have a 12 power source and I can adjust the voltage to 2.85 or 3 volts for the LEDs using the boards. I mount the boards inside the structure and run two wires with a male plug to connect to the 12 volt bus feeder with a female plug. Since I model the early 1950s. I like my LEDs to have a more incandesent light effect than a bright white light. I have some yellow tint paint that I may use if necessary. We shall see..........

Everyone have a great day.......John

Which place???. There's two of them about a block apart on Highway 82, Smokehouse and Dieter Brothers. Both places are great and they use German smoked sausage for their BBQ Sausage sandwiches. Lindsay is about 22 miles away and it's where we go to church at St Peter's Catholic church. We regularly go for lunch with another couple from church to one or the other.
