Good afternoon gang!!

I tried posting this morning, but I kept getting a security warning on my phone that wouldn't let me do diddly squat. So I ate breakfast, took care of the lawn, vacuumed out the basement, relocated a small pile of firewood for fire pit usage, and cleaned out the basement stair well, all full of "helicopters" from the Maple in the front yard.

Not bad for a guy who is looking down the barrel of heart surgery in a few weeks. Not sure why the sudden burst of energy and strength. Maybe when the did the cardiac cath the pushed some of the blockage to the side?? Still got to get it done anyways.

Tires? my weapon of choice! Gotta love a Hunter machine with a Hunter road force balancer!

Louis, We probably worked pretty close to each other when you worked for Ryder, From 1982-2009 I was in Ellicott City working for Ford & GM.

Dawn & David, happy anniversary of another trip around the sun!

Son #2 and his wife are at a friends wedding, since they live in Virginia and the wedding is local they are spending the weekend here, so I have my Granddog here. He's a Puggle (Pug Beagle Mix) Picture a Pug with a Beagles face. Fun little guy! Gets along great with my 2 dogs. Dad's limo service is picking them up around 10-10:30 tonight so they can party all they want with their friends. Depending on how tipsy they are, I might begin drum lessons in the morning! 🤔 ;) 😁

It's California's Proposition 65 law. Unless you have subjected every component of an item, including the packaging, to several million dollars' worth of extensive testing to prove it "doesn't" cause cancer, you are required by California law to place those warnings on everything.
The huge warning labels are sarcasm...
Personally, if you eat a speaker, you deserve to get cancer.
I always tell people that as long as you’re not in California you’re ok. These things only cause cancer in California.

Everything causes cancer.

Back from visiting the daughter. Her boyfriend had a flat (nail in tire) and had a patch appointment at Costco??? but he let it sit all night and it wasn't drivable. Rather than take the wheel off his car, put it in our daughter's car, then drive it over to the tire shop is ??? Instead he ran to his parents to get their battery tire pump.

So we took daughter out to burgers for her birthday lunch. Bru Burger in Carmel Indiana.

That was a good burger and O-rings... but it was two meals worth of calories.

When we came back from lunch, daughter's car was back, boyfriends was gone. Hopefully he got his tire patched.

In other news, my AppleWatch battery is dying. I had to charge it twice a day for the last month. Overnight, then again during the day. I've turned off most of everything I can.

So, a new one got ordered today. Hopefully to arrive Monday.

I have a PSA for anyone that hasn't updated their passwords or online security lately. The Book of Feces group I admin, I have been flooded with member requests from compromised accounts. Over the past month, there were at least 200 bogus requests, all from older accounts that haven't posted anything there in over two years.
At the very least, change your password from "password" or "1234" to something a little more original. You know who you are...

I think I saw a comment you? made on an N scale sales group about having to do this on another group you moderate?

(I think it was a sales group)

I prefer to mount and balance my own tires. If the balance comes out to over 1 oz, I remount and spin the tire on the rim 90 degrees and try again. I don't like tire weights as I've lost a few and when they go, you hear it as it smacks the car at a million mph. Besides, I need my tire weights for my Kato 11-109 chassis for traction.

How are you feeling?

Hunter equipment is top-of-the-line! Which is what the pros choose.

I was there from 1985-1987.

I never stayed anywhere for long, "Mo money, Mo Money, Mo Money! I loved the "Homeboy Shopping Network" on in "Living Color", the Fly Girls weren't bad either!

My Sophie looked like a puggle. I had papers from the breeder saying she was pure bread Beagle, but even our vet agreed she could be a puggle. She was a sweetheart if she knew you. She had a serious attitude. My Tucker (Beagle) was bigger, but Sophie ruled the roost!

I look at that photo and imagine Sophie saying "You looking at me?"

Good morning. It's mostly cloudy and 71. We had .77" of rain in the last 24 hours, .5" of that was between 2:00-2:30PM yesterday. We need the rain, it would be nice if we didn't get it all at once, and let it not just run off the streets into the Gulf.

If you look at a new tire, you will see two dots on the sidewall, one yellow, one red. The yellow dot shows the lightest part of the tire, I try mounting that near the valve stem. The red dot show the spot with the highest road force. If you get into precision balancing using road force, you would place the red dot furthest away from the lowest point on the wheel as it spins.
