Thats a fairly nice string of cars and power you can run.The NCCRR is at its maximum capacity as you can see below:
Thanks !That's a fairly nice string of cars and power you can run.
Well done!
Karl, I could not begin to keep up with you!Good morning gang!
Flo my dear, I’m gonna need a stick to my ribs breakfast and a big big coffee today. I’ve got some traveling to do. I finally found a replacement mower deck for my 1967 Cub Cadet, then to DSW for another pair of Skechers for work, then to HD for another box of drywall screws, then not 1but 2 hobby shop in Pennsylvania.
BBL!!
Sounds like good advice.take 15 minute breaks every once in awhile.
Thanks for all the photos! They are all good, but I love the one of duck. I can't wait to show that to my wife.Good Morning!
I believe the wildfire situation is getting somewhat closer to 'under control' status. Finally, we are supposed to get some rain to help out. There has been no significant rain since Autumn of last year, and the snows were gone a long time ago.
Walked down to Beaver Creek yesterday, on my way to the CN staging area. A looong walk.
Took photos along the way. I don't usually get photos of ducks because they are so shy. This Goldeneye seemed to be game for a pose, though:

There was a foreign object squeezed between the usual CN used box cars, in the staging area. It looked brand new, except for someone's feeble, unfinished attempt at graffiti. - Sadly, it was the box car was packed in so tight, I couldn't get a decent photo.

And here's a couple of other photos, just in case someone is interested:

You can see in the photos, the smoke is still in the air.
Anyway, that's all I have for today. Have a good one!
Agreed, very good movie!!!The movie is coming on Grit Monday, May 22 @ 8:00 PM. I set my DVR. I have the DVD, but it is so easy to watch the DVR in any room.
In my opinion it is one of the best modern westerns.
Smart guy, staying well behind the white line. Around here I see many cars pull up near the gate.
I just watched a YouTube video a few days ago about railroad access to the Harlem Valley Hospital and surrounding area. Very interesting as some history of the hospital was included. I believe the property is now owned by a university in California.New York closed Harlem Valley, Hudson River and Kings Point Mental illness hospitals around 1984. That's the ones I know of because my mother and old girlfriend worked there. There may be others I don't know about. Harlem Valley had 28 building of nuts that are now out in the street somewhere. They just let them out to roam the streets.

Well Guy you know I’m interested in the rail car photos thanks. That duck by the way is beautiful, good capture!Good Morning!

Well yes, the closer you get to the tracks the sooner you get across when the gates open!Smart guy, staying well behind the white line. Around here I see many cars pull up near the gate.
Not being political here but stating facts, Austin is one of our "liberal" cities here in Texas. What you saw seems to be the norm, sadly, in most liberal cities. The University of Texas is in Austin........liberalism abounds.Oh, I get it. We’ve seen things along the road that are sickening in Austin. I understand why some are homeless and much of it is due to the lack of facilities and removed funding for the mentally ill. If I was in charge, no money would leave this country for ANY REASON until our homeless and underfed are handled firsts. Take care of home first.
