I want to give an update on my Bar Mills kit.

I was starting on the second of 3 buildings in the kit and there were missing/defective parts again.

I sent the email tonight and received a response back, from Len, almost immediately apologizing for the errors. I attached photos this time with my email. He said he would send out the missing parts and fully refund my order. I did not ask for that or expect that. The refund has already shown up.

I replied back with a thank you for making things right.

I want to give Bar Mills kudos. All my emails were polite, non-threatening, or confrontational. It was just unfortunate that this happened.

Here is why I am awake. It’s windy outside

Note the 60 mph wind gusts. Very noisy out here and 1 tree next door has branches down

I never drank coffee until I went to Alaska to visit my buddy who was stationed there. It was during the time of the year when the sun remained up until past midnight, became dusky, and then popped back out around 4. We would drive to the fishing spot and would take forever to get there. So, pop into 7-11, get a large coffee and load it up with those creamer packs and try to stay awake. My buddy told me that a lot of the accidents out there were due to people falling asleep while driving because they don't realize that they had been driving for that long. The sun being up all day throws of your timing.

We've gone to shopping malls that kicked us out during the day, except it was 10 pm.

I'm watching tracking on an item I purchased, that was supposed to be delivered today. It's currently in North Carolina for some reason, after being shipped from Connecticut to Florida. I don't think it's going to make it here today, though the Magic Mail Fairy could intervene...

Diet Dr Pepper for me in the morning. Less than 5 cups of coffee in my whole life, I’m 73.
I was the same till I hit my late 20s. It was always Mt Dew first thing in the morning. I tried it one cold morning on the
way to work and instantly was hooked.

Now, I'm not sure how I lived without it all those early years! Still like my Mt dew though, just not first thing.

Good morning all!

Happy Friday!

Currently a very windy 43F under mostly clear skies. High is supposed to only reach 47F. Big story is the very windy conditions. Its blowing
out their 30-35 mph with gust supposed to reach around 60mph. High wind warning expires at 4pm.

Not much going on at the moment. Will do some laundry and other things around the house today. Have to drop off the signed tax forms
to the accountant today. We ended up with a small refund from the state and owe the feds under $100 so it pretty much evens out.

Have a safe day everyone!

The only way to drink coffee. I wish I could find some coffee, or tea for Keurig.
For the Keurig we are currently using Cafe Bustelo Espresso. Not bad at all. For tea, if I'm feeling lazy, I use the Keurig to heat the water instead of boiling a whole pot on the stove.

Currently 25°F heading to 45°F. False Spring seems to have ended here in the northeast. Was in the high 60s low 70s a couple days ago.

My first VA Primary Care appointment is today. An intake to assess where I am. Hopefully, I will learn more about how to use this new benefit and privilege.

Yesterday morning, I was called by a member. I have been ministering to her father these past five months and was going over after a meeting to see him again. He died about 08:30. So I went over and was with the family. Nice guy and also a Navy vet. Damn cancer - - seems like it will take all of us sooner or later.

Forecast for the Cities is 10 - 14 inches of snow starting Saturday evening. Oh joy. But I might get more modeling done if we decide to cancel church service Sunday.

Tomorrow we say goodbye to one of our greyhounds. He will go to a new family. Even the Rescue association we used to get our two boys says that greys are not good around small children. And we are blessed that our 13 month old granddaughter is able to be with us at least one day per week. My son and DIL have asked that we keep physical separation between them. So we have been segregating them to the basement while she has the upstairs. But they don't like it, even with the two trazodone I give them. When Spring and Summer finally come, she is going to want to be outside, and then it will be really tough on the hounds to keep them separated. So cruel as it may sound to the dog-lovers out there, we have decided to rehome the hounds.

Wife and I are trying a new restaurant tonight - Italian! One of my fave cuisines. Today is my day off, so I will do the shopping to stock up for the storm, but hopefully will get some more sub-road and track laid today. Should have the last of it down by the end of the weekend!! A milestone. Then on to wiring feeders and soldering track joints.

I will also install and wire up the new PSXX circuit breakers. After the track is running to satisfaction, on to building structures for the industry spots. My prospective S-I-L is an artist who now teaches art at a middle school. I hope to build a better relationship with him and let him teach me some good painting and weathering techniques. Not currently my strong suit.

Well, enough babbling. Enjoy the day, folkses!

I had to get up and turn off the Xylophone, also; i.e. close the window which was rattling the wood blinds. Twin CIties

I have a wonderful neighbor that her kids on her 75th birthday last year gifted her wind chimes. They sound great with just a nice soothing sound. There are in a corner of her back yard. Unfortunately for me I can hear them when the winds are in the teens +. There are I think 11 chimes from 8” to 24” and they can be frickin annoying like they are now. They don’t stop in these winds. Our winds right now are in the 20’s but the gusts have calmed from the 60’s overnight to the high 30’s. Terry can’t hear them if she’s in the house, the lady who owns them can only hear them when she’s on her deck if she remembers her hearing aids. The lady next to her last Fall asked me to shrink wrap the things, who would know! They bother her too!

Good morning from a not as windy Wisconsin. Winds though will be constant till after dinner 20mph right now. Sunrise showed lots of branches down from my patio door and front doors in the neighborhood. Thankfully nothing is down in the yard

I just checked the temperature, it’s 36 but at 7:30 they issued a new wind warning.

The gusts are back into the 60’s per the NWS. OH, fun driving! I’m heading to Baraboo for a work session

Enjoy the day
