Well, howdy there internet peeps and those with air or ports. One is essential, the other depends on your situation.
It's Troy again...
Full MIL update later today. In a nutshell she responded well to the IV diuretics. Peed almost two liters while there yesterday. She'll be in hospital for a few days.
Wife needs to be there through the day, so she'll have the car. Once I get this typed, I'll head up to shower, get my errands in (Menards run), then back to let her have the car for the day.
I mentioned in my layout thread that I want to get a roll of craft paper (brown butcher type paper) to spread over the layout and do my track design doodling on. If it gets too messy, I'll tape a fresh piece on.
Me and Claude (the AI) got the plot and scenario idea worked out for what's going on in the zombie apocalypse theme. Sounds like I've got a new book series in there.
Thoughts: Coved corners. I think I'm doing away with coving. I like the look, but it's going to be rough reaching the back of the central peninsula if I get a derailment in the "tunnel" area where it goes through the backdrop. More about saving my back, I'd rather reach OVER than crawl under and reach up. So hard corners.
I'm also trying to come up with a way to get color changing LEDs over the layout, but not at ceiling height. Some sort of drop down/hung system. If you have ideas for such, or can point me to a post/video/website, please let me know.
