I'm currently watching a pair of trains going around the room and have realized that I always end up running my cheapest the most on my HO track. My 60 buck Terrier and 20 buck diesel get the most run time, along with my 30 year old SD9, U33, 3D printed J70 and Mantua 0-6-0. My cheap stuff. I may be realigning my expenditures.
I like DCC for their functions, but I am starting to think that the way I run my trains, I don't need that. Lights, quiet, good to go!
Good morning all, 61 here and sunny, supposed to get to mid 70s. Heading out shortly with my Missus, it's her birthday, so we are heading out for shopping and then our Nephew is taking us to dinner. Gonna spoil this Lady [and she is a Lady], she is my greatest gift from God outside of my salvation. Will hit Hobby Lobby for a couple more of those ultrafine point paint markers. Hope you guys have a great day.
Actually as a young person I wasn’t much of one either. I had one album (Farewell to Kings) I liked and used as an alarm clock in the mid 90s but otherwise wasn’t that involved or knowledgeable. I was a Yes man. But in the past 12-15 years as I’ve gotten to listen to them a lot more and see them a couple times in their end phase I got to appreciate them a lot more.
Not enough to immediately pick up Troy’s teaser though. I’m terrible with lyrics. I can sing along WITH a song all day but as soon as I try on my own I crash.
I made a mistake in one of my posts telling everyone here that YouTube Music has a song list limit of 15 songs. It's 5000 songs and it's free. My old 1972 girlfriend Deb and I have been on the phone planning for me to visit her this summer. We always have a lot of fun doing and going places together. I just have to set up the dates for the trip. I wanted to create an interrupted song list for the 14 hour 600-mile drive to NC. I now have 150 songs that amount to 11 plus hours of playing time. Three more hours of songs to go. I also didn't know that anyone can copy my song list and use it on their personal computer or phone. This is all new to me but I'm learning. I'm not sure how you do this but I'm on Youtube Music as Swal20 and my song list is Swal's Classic Rock Vol 1. I know you can click on Suffle Play to randomize what order the songs are played in. I still may make a few changes to the list: I'm working on it. Swal

My wife calls it pixie dust, I call it tumbleweeds. Vacuum the family room carpet and an hour later it needs it again. Bodhi is her medical alert service dog (I call him Point Break). He has a brother named Rowan (I was really hoping he would have been matched with her, I would have called him Mr. Bean). I have resigned myself over the last year since he was paired with her to the fact that I will never have a completely clean house or clothes again.
Yes, tumbleweeds. Between the Border Collie, the Maine Coon cat and the little mutt(Pit,Pomeranian,Min Pin & Chihuahua mix) we have tumbleweeds. The shop vac is my friend!
That's not spring. That's summer. We won't hit 100 probably until June or July. Today was low 80s, which is warm. Blue skies and bright sun.
We need more snow in the mountains for water and we need it cooler so the snow we did get doesn't prematurely melt...
They just announced our snow pack water equivalent and it ain't good. La Nina may have given us a crap load of rain (35"+) and warm weather this Winter, but its been too warm at high altitudes for the snow pack to build up.

The entrance to my train room needs something. Open the door to a poured concrete foundation wall that I should have dry walled years ago. I dry walled most of the train room but the north wall that this section is part of.
Using my Wisconsin Interstate logo which of the following 2 do you like?
