The food was really good but expensive (so have not yet reordered). When we first bought them the pickled cucumbers were really crispy and good. A couple days ago the wife found one of the bags in the back of the refrigerator and there was one pickled cucumber left. It has been there since last spring or so. It was still good but rather not crisp and not so great.

Naturally fermented vegetables are really healthy for you.

Here's a bad one for all:
A drunk guy stumbles out of a bar, he sees a nun walking down the street. He runs up to her, jumps her and starts beating on her. Nun is screaming, people are running from all directions to help her. They finally get him off of her. Drunk guy goes: "I thought you were stronger than that Batman".

Afternoon all,

Found remnants of someone trying to move through our network over the weekend. Fortunately, we have tools in place that really limited their excursions. Still took most of the day to cleanup their tracks and tight stuff up even more.

Was really tired last night, so we went to bed early. Woken up 3 times for assistance by Fire and PD. I have the ability to get in and help them remotely, so I didn't have to drive to the office.

Should have true fiber internet by Friday evening. Keeping the old ISP online for a few extra days as I want to be sure we're completely up on the new system. Still have 3 Alexa devices I need the SIL to configure to the new network. They are on his amazon account and will need to be reconfigured by his app.

Otherwise starting to get quiet for a Monday....If I don't make it back, have a good evening all.

You could be more right than you know.

When my oldest daughter was in the Army stationed at a medical facility in Vilseck, Germany she asked her Colonel "My dad eats lots of cured meats, is it safe?" His answer was "your dad's body will last much longer than most after he dies, but I doubt the cured meat will do him much harm."

Good evening gang!

I found another pic of the Pfhartz & Howe car, love the "Gone with the wind" end lettering.

Yes, it may seem a little immature, but after all, we are folks who play with trains! I also have a store front for this companies wares on the layout. Along with Parsons Pickles and Bakery (makers of world famous dill dough), Dr. Seymour Hiney (Proctologist), Ben Dover (accounting and tax service), along with a few that I can't share here.

Anyone else have any silly names for their industries or storefronts?

Or even bill boards? I squared this one off in Photoshop and mounted it on a sign.

L8ter!

I have no news to report this morning .. looking for 67 and partly cloudy.

Had a very miserable Friday, Saturday, and somewhat part of Sunday!
Between Friday and Saturday - I was in bed 20 hours one day and 16 the next.
Chemo SUX!
Dr appointment with the oncologist Wednesday.
Here's hoping that things become more tolerable?

Sorry FLO - no coffee, but would like a Diet DP, please!

Good morning all. A glass of Kefir and some toast and tea please, Flo.

A minor challenge with Dawn that was sorted out in half an hour. She now has a loving smile. It's a good day.

I keep saying I will go to the train room. Today I will.

Oldest grandson is visiting after school. He really helps me with Dawn. Making challenging times a lot easier.

Morning all,

51° and clear going for a high of 76°. Record for this date is 81°.

Got my new tiller ordered. I went to Lowe's to order it and it was $80 more for the store to order it than for me to order online. It also qualified for free shipping to the house, so why pay the extra to pick it up in the store. Lowe's doesn't price match their own website price.

Got a visitor for the next couple of days. Youngest granddaughter is staying with us as her sister is at her dad's for the week (joint custody thing). Her mom and dad are needing to go out of town for their respective jobs, so she needed someplace to go. She's almost 5 going on 27. I did take her for donuts at 5:00a this morning as she got up when we did. Hopefully she takes a nap, because grandma will need one...😁
