Hello Flo!
Grab your fuzzy slippers and meet me at the end of the counter.
I scoobied us two pieces of David's Birthday cake.
We can look out the window while we eat.
Heard rumor that some kids stole a Gandy Dancer and are pumping their way towards ANPL Coffee Shop.
Won't they be surprised if they trip the crossing gate and lights.
By the way, tonight's milk is strawberry. Two straws in the glass bottle.
First one to "Moo" puts a dime in the jukebox. 😊

Good morning!

Good morning gang!

34 and windy, with a high in the 50s later.

Yes, it’s and old wood kit, I found at a train show ages ago. I’ve only ever seen this car one other time years ago on a friend’s layout, so when I saw the kit I had to have it.

BBL
I found another kit of on the interwebs.
$29.00. Wasn't sure if it was the same one.
Anyways, it's cool and thanks for sharing the photo.

Good Morning All. Cloudy, 46° and DARK. There seems to be an abrupt change in the forecast, as rain this morning is now there; wasn't there when I last checked after supper yesterday! I wonder if it is because it has showed up on the radar??? Yesterday was a perfect day, sunshine, no wind, 65°. If the forecast is to be believed, today will be warmer and more windy after this rain moves on; although it is not raining here even though the radar shows that it is! My weather rock is more accurate.

I did some mowing around the house with the little electric mower yesterday, until the battery ran out. An extra battery actually costs as much as the mower to begin with. A Ryobai rep told me to just purchase one of their leaf blowers to get another battery that fits the mower, it's cheaper than extra batteries. Today's outdoor activity depends on the currently non-existent rain.

Out in the train shed yesterday, I had a short lazy day, which is typical for Sunday's. I did assemble the walls, bracing and corner posts for the first of the two sheds, I thought that I took a picture but all that I can find is just the loose parts. I also gave it a coat of primer which I find essential to laser-cut wood structures. After a finish coat next, I will assemble the four walls and add the windows.

I did some more tombstones in the cemetery, but that progress is barely visible. I got bored and then ran trains for about 45 minutes.

Hughie -
Galveston storage - those locomotives have been there for years. I think I posted photos last year or possibly the year before. It is an amazing site, to see that many locomotives just sitting there.
More amazing is that there isn't a fence around them and they are grafitti-free. Does that say anything about the mindset of folks in different parts of this country???
Trains - Got under the layout, not an easy task anymore, and wired up the added track from the turntable. Patting myself on the back, no shorts.
That means that you don't have to go back under. Congratulations.
David - Seems like a good birthday haul. Only thing better would be gift certificates to the local model railroad shop, if there are any near you.
Curt - Watch out for the large amount of NSAIDS, they can lead to internal bleeding. Don't ask how I know!
Mike - I'm really surprised that there is actually a body shell model of the "Beep" available, since only one was ever made. Wouldn't fit my operating scheme though.

Today is Commonwealth Day for our friends north of the border, except Guy who doesn't observe any holidays.

Everyone have a good day, it's beginning to get light out, so the sun hasn't actually been banished. Still don't see the rain although there are a few spots on the weather rock.
