Well, howdy there internet peeps, and those who hope Hughie wears shorts the next time he slides under his layout. No more going without ;)

It's Troy again

Got 4 out of 7 books refreshed and uploaded the various outlets. Prices are matched where I could. Now I'm working on getting the initial run of ads set up. March is kicking my butt on advertising... a few good days, and then several low to no sales. Hoping that reviving this set of fantasy books will help average all of that out.

Wife took her mother out to visit the recuperating honorary and regular sis-in-laws (they're roomies). The liver one says that her normal greasy food isn't appealing any longer. Not sure what's connected to her new medical pill regime, and what is because her liver isn't trying to kill her.

Wife and I went to Penn Station to lunch for sandwiches. Then I took a nap.

I went looking for photos of the derailment here in Decatur IN, and the sheriff's dept still has the best coverage. And Cops are not good photographers (past experience of mine when I worked for newspapers. We always backstopped the cops with our own photography, and got asked for it, often).

Looks minor, compared to others making headlines, but it has a major rural truck route closed. Semi drivers are grumping up a storm about the long detours to stay on truck routes.

Sheriffs/PD report that the tankers are empty, with no spillage from them.

Good evening all. Thanks for the birthday wishes guys. Had our son and three grandchildren visiting today. They have just gone home.
Presents received ----- Cans of American ale from daughter & SiL. Bottles of UK beer from the grandchildren. A bottle of port from son and DiL.. Bottle of Pusser's rum from Dawn. I ask myself are they trying to get me drunk, so I cannot go to the train room?

I did get some dark chocolate. That was from the girls in the family. I am the only one who likes dark chocolate, so it's all mine.

So, time for a drink. ☺️
You go to train room with your presents, and open them in the train room as you run your trains. Any pictures of the afternath of a drunk on the job dispatcher are welcome on this forum😉😁

Darn shelf couplers. When one rolls, they all roll!

Good evening gang!

Happy Birthday David!

Sleepy day today, didn't get up til almost noon, ate, vacuumed the basement and puttered around, then watched the Napcar race in from of a roaring fire. Yes, I slept through most of it, that's why we call it Napcar. I wasn't really cold outside, but it was damp and windy.

The Beep is an interesting engine and I would have one if I modeled the ATS&F, but I don't and frankly, I have too many locos already. That being said you probably could kitbash one out of a Stewart DS-44-1000 switcher and a GP7 long hood. Or you could start with an old Athearn S-12 and a GP7 hood, but be careful of Athearn's hood width.
