Do I need to say "Rabbit Rabbit" again? Does this count as a new month? Not sure.

For those not in the US and Canada, we've got the jump on you! Does that mean are trains are running an hour ahead compared to Europe's trains?

:p

Morning all,

I hate DST. Currently 35° and cloudy once again, going for a high of 48°. Daughter #2 is bringing her dogs for us to for the next 2 weeks as they are taking a small vacation over spring break. We're cheaper than having to board them. The dogs do know us and are pretty good about listening. We have almost a 1/3 acre lot that's fenced so they have some run room. Besides gotta give the wild rabbits some exercise. They're getting fat. But they really have no fear of people. One could almost pet them.

Went out yesterday and got some new tires on the truck. Dealer put really cheap tires on it when they got it from the government. 40,000 mile warranty and they barely made that. Coming home I could difference between a $50 Wal mart tire and and a $210 tire. They checked the alignment and it was out a little, so I had the tire place correct it. With nearly 49,000 miles on an 11 year old truck, I think it was probably the trucks first alignment.

Oh yeah, and did I mention I hate DST? 😉

Good Morning All!
32F @ 84% and snowing .... again. Most melted yesterday afternoon, but here we go again.

DST - time is relative ... right? Being on a OTR truck for the last few years and being a time traveler going through all of the timezones, we learned to operate on our internal clocks and not really give a hoot about the time. We get there when we get there. Note that we were always early for load/unload. Sometimes if we were *really* early, the shipper/receiver would ask when our appointment is - always told them "What timezone?" which they usually grinned and in we went.

Printer/Plotter: Up and working although I do have a problem with one of the colors. Think that the primer has something to do with that and will yard it out and dis-assemble to see what I can see. It does not really matter in the long run as I am only interested printing black anywho.

Good Morning everyone,

I feel like I'm an hour late for breakfast. Oh, wait I am!

Had a slight dusting of snow last night, just the grass. Looks like it might be starting to melt off. Going up in the mid 30s today. It will be nice to have the sunset at 7pm though. I always considered DST a milestone to spring.

Enjoy your Sunday all!

:) 😀 Reminds me of my first International over the pond flight as a co-pilot.
The Flight Engineer leaned up to me and said, "I'm going to give you a heads up. In the different time zones, your body's clock will be off ..... If you feel you need to fart - You better sit on the toilet". 😁

Afternoon All,

Started out today with a walk at 58F and currently at 80F. After breakfast I sprayed weeds in the driveway, put down ant bait in the yard, and did some outside sidewalk sweeping (pollen). Thankfully the dead oak leaves falling to the ground are pretty much done. Tomorrow, I need to go to Harbor Freight for 9v batteries. My son will help me change the batteries in the smoke detectors tomorrow. To reach them I need a step stool, but he can reach them without one. In the train room I picked up 14 coal cars and a cabin car with a RS1 and ran them for several laps around the layout including through a reverse loop. The takeaway is that the track and loco wheels are dirty. :(

Gary- Cool photo.

Can't stop the rioting, robbing, or destruction of business, but by gum we can't let a cold one be purchased for them!

Over 130 people were cited in California on Saturday on suspicion of purchasing alcohol for minors.
A “Shoulder Tap” operation took place statewide involving 44 local law enforcement agencies in partnership with the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC).
During the operation, a minor under the supervision of law enforcement stands outside of a liquor or convenience store and asks customers to buy them alcohol.
The minor will indicate they are underage and cannot purchase alcohol.
“If an adult agrees to purchase alcohol for the underage person, they can be arrested and cited for furnishing alcohol to a minor,” authorities said.
