I can't think of anywhere I'd like to spend 12 hours than at the airport.
Supposedly the Singapore airport is almost a destination in and of itself, so if you have to stay at an airport for 12 hours it's the one to be at. Note that I've never been to Singapore. It's all hearsay.

I've had a few 9-11 hour type layovers in Chicago and Incheon in Korea. I was ready for seppuku

Good afternoon folks, 78 here right now and heading for 91 and the humidity is at it's normal "air you can wear" level. Will get some more paint on a corner TTrak module fascia in a bit. Then I will also attack the straight module, mounting the Unitrack on it. I need to drill a couple of holes for the track feeders to go through, gotta watch the BWWB wiring. It's simple to just have the track directions switched, but that means it's also simple to get it backwards if you don't pay attention.
@troyphoto the building is awesome, very nicely done.
@TLOC I nearly snorked hot coffee at that Hamster meme! Don't do that! 😁
Anyway hope you all have a good day.

My #2 son has flown several times from Dulles near D.C. to Beijing and back at least 6 times, I don't know how he does it. He's getting ready for a second trip to Guam. The nice part about the Guam trips is that the Gubmint flies him business class !

If you go to Singapore be VERY, VERY careful with regard to even prescription medications. And avoid having any illegal drugs of any kind, even cannabis. They tolerate very little, and in some cases transporting--especially importing--drugs can literally lead to the death penalty.

Don't make any mistakes, and make sure your luggage IS your luggage.

What temp do you set the dehydrator for?
Generally 90f degrees for a couple hours depending on humidity in the room. I have to experiment now that the shop is in the daughter’s craft shop. Her Humidity was at 61% this morning so I set it at 70 degrees and 5 hours because we were heading to the movies today and I couldn’t pop in to check it. I completely forgot about the movie this morning. Home now and heading over at 5pm to check on it and hopefully add a fade coat.

I rarely go over 100f degrees and the times I have it’s been for less than 30 minutes. If I go 12 to 24 hours it’s at 60 degrees regardless of humidity

If you are going to try it EXPERIMENT first. I’ve ruined cars because I relied on the temperature gauge on the dehydrators. I use separate gauges to check temperatures

Have fun

They don't get their luggage. It's a layover with the luggage auto routed to the next flight.

Good morning. North by 103 miles of Mike (MIGALYTO) and we have the same weather. 72f degrees with strong humidity and 90 later. We had rain on and off yesterday just enough to be miserable. No real accumulation that even though everything was wet the rain gauge had just traces. That was till about 6:15 when we had a 15 minute cloud burst. Just over 1” in the rain gauge. Dry today per the guessing app with rain the rest of the week

Let’s go to the NBA final and go to sleep during the game? I can do that at home for free in front of the monitor! $9000 for a nose bleed seat in Madison Square Garden yesterday. I think priorities are just a bit askew! Ban 3rd party seat reselling markets. However it is the American way. Happy the Spurs won and I cannot name more than 1 player on either team. Tonight the NHL and the Stanley Cup Finals are back with game 4.

I have 2 diesels to weather. Going to spray them this morning with the initial matte clear coat. Then put them in the dehydrator for 4 hours. Then a good fade.

I did the 2 diesels in the picture for a friend last month and he sent 2 more of the same yesterday. But I have to get in the car and drive to the daughter’s shop where my spray booth is

For you Chicago Bear fans or former fan like me, you got to admit that’s funny. People are upset because a state that should actually declare bankruptcy and a city that can’t afford its teachers won’t give a profitable NFL team worth 7+ billion a tax break. Best of luck Indiana

I’m leaving before I cross the line
Alligators😃

One time when flying from Newark to Berlin, I've had a 6 hour layover in Zurich. Great since there's a train station underneath the airport and a train every 15 minutes or so. So i spend the next 4,5-5 hours at the main train terminal in the city after a short train trip from the airport. Some of the best train chasing opportunities.

I think last night was the first night of not running trains in well over a year. I didn't cut a hole in the mask like I need to so that killed me yesterday at the hospital. I saw a lot of folks walking around with their mask protecting their chin, so I should have just done the same. I still feel like cr@p today, but will force myself to do something.

My only consolation for not running a train is that I did put my shunter lights and chassis together. I tested it on a foot length of test rail, so I guess that'll have to count as running something.
