Now I know you'll probably say "well scroll past till you get to what you want" My answer is I can't, the coffee shop is locked away every month, and by the time I find something I want to ask Willie about, in a post say 18 months ago, by the time I've returned to present day, I'll probably have forgotten.
Smudge -- I think the answer here is to have ask WILLIE creat a duplicate thread and use the "copy and paste" function to post in both threads.
Personally - I just like to look at the "Coffee Shop" mostly and some days I do not look at other posts, but that's just me.
I cannot quite figure out that asking WILLIE to have all his posts in a single thread is going to help you find a specific post - there will still be hundreds to look through - one for each day?

Why not use the search function to find what you are looking for?
Am I not thinking through this properly?

No, it would be easier admittedly for anyone who wished to follow Willie's work, but I cannot FORCE Willie or anyone else for that matter to do anything, I could have asked, which I didn't, perhaps if I had this whole thing might not be what it now is, but that is all, and as I said it would make it simpler and easier to follow any modeller who's work without the various day to day chatter, which you all enjoy.

If you wish to interpret that as forcing someone to do something by asking or not asking something, I cannot stop you.
Tony's RULE is just that. A Rule. He was obviously acting in moderator mode (Red Text, All Caps, Commandments - but a nice "please"and "thank you" tossed in)

That rule means what it says: "... post hobby related things in the appropriate Hobby Specific Forums and keep this place for all NON HOBBY topics like the weather, food, cooking and your mums ducks. Thankyou...."

We've got two choices to follow the rule: Post all hobby stuff outside of the Coffee Shop threads, or don't post any at all. Here's my non-hobby photo of the evening.

I give up, really I do, I'm voicing an OPINION, or is that TROY'S new rule, don't voice an opinion that doesn't agree with TROY. And your turning it into something it isn't, to suit your agenda, I never mentioned this edict, I never mentioned Tony's RULE, so your twisting my words to suit yourself.
I wont be bullied by you or anyone else mate.

Smudge: Not for nothing, no one is accusing you of forcing your will upon the rest of us. Until the poop hit the fan, I had no idea you felt the way you do, or why. One of the moderators was the one forcing the issue, theoretically, because someone objected, by issuing authoritarian edicts about content. That moderator's edict, is a matter of record, and I'm sure he felt justified, for his own reasons. I don't think he intended to create the fire storm that resulted. No need to continue reiterating the different positions in the dispute, and either way someone is going to be unhappy.

OK Everyone, I see the need to make a comment. All that I posted was
I will go and join Sherrel in exile.
This was done without malice or ill will. Several others took the same stance regarding the "edict", some posted, some simply stopped posting. Unfortunately things escalated from there and Karl and I were maligned by the OP, who has laid low since then. I am, along with others, attempting to resolve the interpretation with the "higher-ups" of this forum, but because of other factors, we have been asked to wait a few days. This I can do. Note that some posts have been deleted besides the vulgarity laden one that was uncalled for.

Historically the Coffee Shop has existed since 2004, and it evolved into it's present format in 2006, shortly before Jeffrey "Running Bear" Wimberly joined the forum and he really set the tone for the future. At least up until Thursday. I have gotten support from many members, but that's not what I am looking for. I want the Coffee Shop to return to "normal", like the Coffee Shop that Jeffrey, Garry, Greg, Eric and many other departed members left it.

Everyone needs to settle down before feelings get hurt and let this thing get worked out behind the scenes where it should have been resolved to begin with.

Oh, all right then! (mumble, mumble)
I'll send the boys off to go get drunk somewhere, for now...

Good Morning All. Clear and 69° here on the SFW estate. Might hit 90° today, just 89° yesterday. Thunderstorms predicted for the next 4 days. If they indeed happen, they will be a month late. May is normally our wettest month, but this year, only about 3" versus a normal 7"-8". I've been watering the garden as a result.

Uneventful grocery trek yesterday, gasoline is still in the $3.06-$3.09/gal range except at the major oil places like Exxon or Chevron where they are charging $3.29. I did note that egg prices are falling but produce is going up.

Later I picked more onions and my first 6 Cherry Tomatoes. I held off on the Green Beans until today. Had to mow east and north of the train shed, today will be the backyard between the house and pool. Still filtering the pool water, it's taking longer this year, but the water temperature has just climbed to 78°, almost bearable for use.

Speaking of the train shed, all that I did out there yesterday was to run a few trains - it's been a few days.
From the archives, here's a few "down the line" scenes.

Jeff - For watching carb intake, mashed Cauliflower is a great substitute for mashed potatoes. Zucchini Squash can be cut into french fries or made into pasta with a Spiralizer.
Troy - Here's hoping for a rapid recovery.

Today is National Donut Day. Freebies are generally given out at leading retailers if they are your thing. I don't eat them, too much sugar and carbs.

Everybody have a great day, the weekend is next.
Doughnuts….drools …I made a Keto version….but we scoff them too fast I did upload a photo previously so won’t but I have a doughnut railroad option…as you do…
