Every time I've driven on the turnpike, I get the feeling I don't have enough life insurance!

Many times when we have a surplus, I quarter them and add to veggie stir-fry.I never knew you could cook, and eat radishes just like a potato
Murphy must have your new address already.Good afternoon. I knew today wouldn't be complete without some major frustration.
I've been dealing with my previous state wanting $$$ for not having insurance on a car I no longer own, unless I can prove to them I no longer own it. Last month I sent the required documents certified mail, and they disappeared. So this time, I was told to fax the documents. My HP combo printer refused to fax, so I went to the closest UPS Store, and tried faxing everything using the fax number supplied to me by the DMV. The number has been disconnected.
So, after sitting in my car on hold for almost an hour, the person I finally spoke to told me to scan the documents and email them to an email address she provided. I then came home, and turned on the HP Print/Scan/Fax machine, and-- well, it refused to scan.First, it insisted on sending my documents to their cloud server, which would process them, and send them back to my computer as scanned documents. My documents would remain on their server. Against my better judgement, I agreed to this, as I really need those documents. So, I scanned everything, it was received by HP's server (probably in China), and--nothing. Sorry, we can't transmit those documents back to you because your connection isn't secure. After much cursing and gnashing of teeth, I gave up.
My new Canon printer will be here tomorrow, and I'll never buy another HP printing device again. And HP has all my identifying information on those documents, my name, address, date of birth, driver's license number, license plate number, and a copy of my signature. I would advise as strongly as possible for anybody to never use HP's scan service, for obvious reasons.
Yo! you didn't include the Parkway, or 9; 1 & 9. The turnpike is a mild 6 lanes in each direction separating truck lanes and car lanes...easy peasey!Every time I've driven on the turnpike, I get the feeling I don't have enough life insurance!
Cool, have to check that out.The latest online Keystone Modeler has a fantastic article from a person that scratch built the 100 ft. TT (HO scale) that was at Shire Oaks yard (by Pittsburgh).
They have had some ugly wrecks there over the years. Used to drive to work, Parkway, (98), to Turnpike, (11 to 14), every day...drive home 1 & 9 to 9. It would be worse if they didn't separate the Car-Bus-Truck lanes from the car lanes.About 8 years ago a friend of mine died on the Jersey Turnpike.

Lived in Jersey for a bit. Worked in Cranberry. Found a Great MR shop there. Can't remember the name anymore, but it was a few minutes south of Cranberry. Don't know if its still there, but it was a great place, with a great proprietor. Be interested to know if it is still there, if any of the Jersey people know its status, let me know. They have had some ugly wrecks there over the years. Notes (which is what you use to scan on them) crashes on launch with both my iPhone and iPad. I'm not able to scan with either of them.Do you have a smart phone or iPad or something? There are multiple scanning apps that will take a photo and turn it into a scan for you, right on-device. No Cloud service necessary.
