Good Morning All!
57F @ 54% little hazy still. Should be Only 93F later.

Have one more window to tape. Had to stop yesterday as I could not see what I was doing cuz of sweat in the eyes. Should get that done in a bit. Then clean out all of the stuff around the inside walls ( various pieces of dimensional lumber, OSB, T1-11, tools and junk ). Airless is already out there, so need to run some soapy water through it and make sure it will indeed spray. Since ima spraying inside, got a zoot suit to put on - cheapo thing, but should last for the sealer and a top coat or two. Only spraying waterbase paint, so simple mask and goggles too.

Finally; Lil started drinking water out of a bucket/bowl. Caught her watching Jake drink day before yesterday and she stayed curious. Welp about 1500 yesterday, stuck her face in and started lapping water. We were both sitting on the back deck and saw it, looked at each other and grinned. Suspect that sucking will come about in time - goats are like horses, stick nose in and suck.

Spent about an hour earlier looking for line drawings of various engines. Finally found Trainiax.net which also lead me to PaintShop.Railfan.net. Now to figure out how to import into Inkscape so I can play with schemes. I suspect that since GN and NP are my favs, the older schemes of those will probably make me lean somewhat.

Old Indian Chief's youngest son asked him how he came up with sibling names. Answered with:
When your older sister was born, I looked out of our hut and saw an Eagle - she is Soaring Eagle. For your older brother, a bear was in the rapids catching fish - he is River Bear. Why do you ask, 2 Dogs %^#$ing?

What was the verdict?

I didn't see you mention it in this mornings post.
Mixed verdict. Food was good, service was good, but they were out of medium-rare Prime Rib which is what I go for. All that they had was medium, so I got a freshly grilled Delmonico instead. Locally they only offer the Prime Rib on Friday-Sunday, hence the reason for going out on a Friday to begin with. I still have points and a gift card, so I am lassoed into coming again.

Good morning folks, 81 here and sunny heading for 90. Lady C will get the honor of the first new shower run in a bit, we both slept in today. Goal is to get a road laid on the corner module today, then I will be able to put in the driveways for the other places off the road proper. Might switch the depot plan on the straight module as I have a WS kit wanting to be built. Gonna finish the first pot of coffee. You guys have a good one.

Here is a rare alternate Yankee uniform from 2018.

That is Zach Britton wearing the Players’ Weekend alternate navy‑and‑gray look. It was a rare sight, seeing New York in something other than the timeless home whites or road grays.

It was sad seeing him in anything other than the Orioles’ orange He went from being Baltimore’s super-closer to New York’s high‑leverage veteran, money talks.

No extra stress on any syllable. All evenly stressed

Japanese is syllabic (“n” is a stand alone syllable). So it’s always consonant — vowel together or standalone consonant.

There are a few exceptions where two syllables are smashed together to make a new syllable — ko yo together gives kyo but when reading it in roman characters it’s just “kyo” anyway. You don’t care how it got there.

And there are a few that don’t exist.

ta chi tsu te to. Ti and tu don’t exist.

sa shi su se so. Si doesn’t exist.

Again when reading them in Roman letter form the change’s already made. But it helps you if someone has made a mistake in romanizing and written “ti” or “si” on what to say. It does happen.

Good day to all.

After finishing up another wood & steel stairway going into a million dollar plus home I may have some time to get back to my layout work.
I'm telling my customer no more work for at least 2 to 3 months. This last project really zapped my patience & energy.

Still hot in west Texas..........

That was a great catch.

If your interested in having that model on your layout, ScaleTrains make it in HO scale.

Thank you, but too many syllables, I'll stick with Tommy. I only wish he was still with my Orioles. The young Rockies pitchers are lucky to have him to learn from. Only a handful of pitchers in MLB know how to pitch like Tommy. Having 10 wins before August is something special in today's game.

Roki Sasaki, I can pronounce his name, I love that kid; he is going to be huge. Roki is learning from another master Yoshinobu "Yoshi" Yamamoto. A master in his prime, he is a work horse and his stuff is electric! He can outsmart a hitter or just blow it by him.

A rose by any other name is still a rose.

I'll need to find room for a layout first. I have, pretty much, everything for a layout but room. 😢

Good afternoon. Done with being outside with the exception of taking the dogs for a SHORT walk. It is warm outside. Supposed to cool off to the lower 90's and maybe upper 80'sstarting tomorrow.

Took the dogs for a nice long walk earlier today down by the Kootenai Falls. Close to a mile and a half. There were times during chemo where it was hard to walk 50 feet. Went up to the dam recreation area and dog park over the past few days but there is a rodeo going on in town so I am steering clear with the dogs. I have seen afternoon temps for the past few days showing over 100, but maybe the location of the sending unit could be a problem. Usually it is right on.

I had mentioned finding a few more pin vises before and I just found another in this container where I keep my hemostats. My cousin was a surgical nurse and she would collect the ones that would no longer be used in surgery. In many cases I couldn't see anything wrong, but then, I am not a surgeon. that blue object to the right o\is a magnetron we used in the firecontrol radars. I have a couple of these. Talk about a strong magnet. We had a few 200 plus pound guys attach them to sterel beams in the overhead, put a broom handle between them and do pull ups.

Todd, Willie - I am also an early riser. I used to have to leave for work at around 5:30 AM, or earlier because I worked with people on the east coast as I worked in operations for a trucking company. Got used to it, calling it quits between 8 to 9 and up around 4:30 AM. Now my 2 girls wake me up playing tag or something else on the bed.

Todd - I have only been in Libby for around 4 years and have been chosen for jury duty twice. The last time I got called I mentioned that I worked in law enforcement and that I was also 80 years old. Crickets. May have to stop by and meet the goat.

Mike - You and others have mentioned thunderstorms. Send some up here. What few showers we have had were barely good enough to settle the dust. My wife down in Florida has been having them just about daily.

Louis - That is a sweet looking B&O locomotive.

Troy - That's one sweet looking roast.

Willie - Nice work on the market. I really enjoyed putting that one together. I was hoping that it wouldn't be destroyed in transit. I would have sent you the post office I have on the module but I didn't think it would survive. I find myself struggling with the plastic kits I am putting together.
A few more details on the green one and they're done.

I have finally decided where all of the buildings are going to go. The eye droppers I ordered from Amazon arrived this morning but still waiting to the ballast to come from modeltrainstuff. Also found a guardrail that needs to be put up along the roadway. Once the track ballast is finished, ground cover will be started. in front of the gas station I will put a piece of the "garage Sale" sign painted to look like concrete along with a pad under the trailer by the fuel loading dock. The grass and trees will be among the last of the scenery. Pink Floyd sent some of those Chinese figures that Willie had to repaint that I sent to him. My turn to paint figures.

Not having the supplies does give me a break. It's not as easy as it used to be.

Here are a few more from the archive.

Good evening gents.

Spent a good bit of the day getting son # 4 a new to him car. A 21 Equinox that one of my co-workers (known around the shop as my work wife) Recently traded in for a new 26 Equinox. This car has been overly maintenanced over the last 5 years. Oil Changes every 3,000 miles, trans service, coolant exchange, brake exchange and all filters done early. At 52,000 miles it's damn near new. He starts his new job in Frederick MD Monday. We won't pick it up til Monday night because of he has to pick the check up from the credit union when they open Monday. He has a pre-approval letter in hand, he just needs the check. He went online and purchased his own insurance policy for the car this afternoon after we got home.

Sometime next week I an going to get the blue S10 state inspected so It can leave. I don't need it anymore, no sense paying that tags and insurance on it.

Train wise I did cut another 8 ft of fascia board, painted and mounted on the peninsula. I also cut the fascia for the "fiddle" yard at the "west" end of the layout, and mounted one of the UTP panels on the peninsula fascia that I hung last weekend.

Tomorrow more of the facia to cut.

Boogie, You really don't know who Cliff Clavin is???

Nite all
