Afternoon All,
Started out the day with a walk at a cool 74F but still humid. I finished up a HOA project today for the wife and I painted 3 ducks from Mini-Prints. They enclosed 6 skunks for free.
I am also experimenting with paint colors for a bottom of a cow pond. Tomorrow, I have a throat Cat Scan. Dad just told me he needs 3 x-rays so he'll go with me. X-rays are walk-in with no appointments.
David- Nice looking gondolas. I also like longer cruises without port visits.
Louis- Interesting "Monkey Wards" photo.
Karl- That sucks being let go that close to retirement. Is there a company retirement fund?
Willie- Nice scenes. We're getting the same effect from the northeastern paradise transplants.
George- Your story reminds me of one I have. I was temporarily assigned to the USS Coral Sea (Yokosuka) as part of a contingent that controlled water management for several subs during a battle group exercise. We were in the Sea of Japan; it was morning, and I was walking through the hanger bay on the way to the galley. The large hanger door was open, and a UNREP was being conducted with a supply ship. The carrier wasn't rocking at all, but the supply ship looked like it was rocketing up and down. I couldn't see how anyone on the ship was able to stand much less function. As a sub guy I was glad to be on the carrier that morning.
When our team left the carrier, we left via the COD flight, so we were catapulted off. Not for me.
I hope everyone has a good night.
