Does your AdBlock plus work on you tube? My Ad Block does not but I don’t have Plus Version

They start making decent money at 10,000 subscribers and as Troy wrote the more subscribers the better. Luke Towan on you tube who I believed was the best of the model railroaders on you tube with best production and tutorials when he hit a Million subscribers moved to diorama modeling but now only rarely trains. They do have paid subscribers called patrons who generally get more content for a certain amount of monthly payments.
Shame was the income got Luke towan to side track

I tried to watch some of the You Tube videos on how to make money off of videos, but I just can't stand listening to those English accents or the gang bangers fanning their money out on camera.
English accent…..sad face
i forgive you cos I often can’t distinguish an American accent from a Brit, but the American chord who take ‘English’ lessons sound SO funny to us real Brits, sonetimes I can’t watch a film for sniggering over the bad accents lol, sounds like a 200 old cockney crossed with a steam punk wannabe lol.

Troy, I agree with Willie. Mom’s doctors should put you guys on as contacts to be notified of the appointments. My doctors send the text messages, we check in online, they call if we haven’t checked in, it really is great plus my own calendar alerts. As a Boomer I would take the responsibility but the Millennials would say it’s the doctors office fault mom missed an appointment.
Yep. We're playing catch up on the tech side due to Mom's memory decline.

Her grandson-in-law (my nephew-in-law) has been handling transport to eye dr apts for a while, but he just took a second job, so some of the extras for the eye doc are falling off his schedule.

I set up the shared google calendar this morning. Now we need to get everyone to use it, and have a central place for her Dr contact info.

What gets confusing with the texts will be that I married a girl with the same first name as my mother. Which one of them is this text about????

Good morning from a decently wet So. Central Wisconsin. The 25% of rain overnight did happen and the new gauge (beaker)is hard to read but maybe 1/4”.

The 3 computerized marvels of advanced civilization and science, the weather stations are on my workbench being worked on. I want to know why they are reporting intermittently instead of the constant they are supposed to. Yeah I got bored last night and pulled them apart.

The Horse Rescue ride for the organization was a success. The best paid attendance ever at 383 riders. The organization made some good money at $100 per rider. The tent guys called already this morning Terry said and the tent will stay up the balance of the week for sure. They are short staffed. 80’ x 120’ is a big tent with 3 guys for sure to take it down and 5 for the set up. I ended up around 4pm watching 5 kids between 8 and 11 in the pool. I did have 2 teen helpers, the old 16 year old life guard twins were chaperoning the young riding group, they also came to the pool. No other parents or adults (Terry is not sure I always qualify as an adult) but they were good. The surveyor‘s daughter asked if there was a house here her mom and her could rent. She had a great time.

Other then the destruction of the weathering stations on my workbench I accomplished little yesterday. It was so nice out yesterday, I just switched between the south and north decks during the day till the kids came to the pool. I did around noon get 3 tacos from the food trucks at the tent for lunch and some fried cheese curds a bit later around 1:30. The food is donated, 4 trucks, but it is strongly suggested a $1.00 tip per trip to the trucks. The people in the trucks enjoy coming here. Soda is free but water, beer and wine (the female horse owner’s drink of choice) is not. There were 4 rescues yesterday that were auctioned off and sold for a reasonable amount per the Rescue reporter, my wife. I asked if she bid and thankfully said no.

Terry is in paying bills as the American Eagle (social security) has landed in the bank accounts. I did hear about my Pay Pal account balance being too high and she thought the restaurant expenses were kind of high for her being gone the end of June. She hasn’t directed any of her mumbling at me (yet) but her office windows are wide open, she talks to herself and I am on the north deck! I think she believes I am on the south deck.

Guy, that bear would have had me sh….g in the woods! Great picture of the fish and his dinner you guys took from him!

Dave, I always liked listening to music and Terry and I attended many live concerts over the years. But band members names, not so much other then the headliner.

musicians, best of: there are so many good ones and I don’t follow band members. But there are a few that maybe great but I just couldn’t listen to. Bob Dylan though is truly #1 in my book not to listen to followed by Springsteen and anything by the Rolling Stones. Just me, Terry loves Springsteen

enjoy the day
Hey Tom, Wife and I saw Dylan in Rochester MN a few years back. It was an outdoor summer concert in a baseball diamond, oddly very few people were there. Could have been 10 years or more back, come to think of it. We were only about 20' from the stage by the end of the concert, there was so much room there many had chaise lawn chairs and blankets spread out!!!

We only went to a couple events per year, mostly at the Apple Valley Zoo or MN State Fair. Headliners: Ringo Star, BB King on his 70th Birthday, Bob Dylan, Todd Rundgren, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, etc. Mainly went because Wife likes to get out and have to keep the girl happy.

Good morning all (just changing up the greeting to see if y'all notice)

Just got back from the Target run. Stopped by another store to pick up a RUB (Really Useful Box). Seems I keep forgetting to take my Elephants gaming. Probably because they're so tall they don't fit in the normal plastic tote box I keep my figures in.

Already had a steel sheet cut to the correct size, so it was time to use the last of the Gorilla Glue (the other type PolyUrathane or whatever) and glue the sheet to the bottom of the box. Got it weighted down with water bottles, I'll give it a test run tomorrow and make sure the army fits.

Speaking of youtubs... been watching vids from Bob and Brad
The two
Most Famous
Physical Therapists
On the Internet

Well, that's what their jingle says...

Why watch those two powerhouses of internet personalities (they're not really. I've seen glue dry with more personality than those two)?

Plantar fasciitis. I keep aggravating it. So, I scooted my chaise lounge over to the side. And broke out the birkenstocks.View attachment 149247

Looks like this one is going long term. I kept re-injuring the fascia since I wasn't slowing down. I was going to get another can of balls at Target, and forgot. Rolling that under the foot, really helps break up the scar tissue that forms as the tendon heels each little tear. I need to find another tennis ball or two. Of all the times to not live next to a golfer or tennis nut.
Love the elephant

Just don't get an American mixed up with a Canadian accent, your guaranteed to get a dirty look from both of them.

I'd like to know what an "American" accent is. The US is larger than Europe (not including the inhabited vastness of Russia) and so has a gamut of accents to match.

eh?

Sorry
If you ever watched the sitcom "Frasier", Daphney (from the UK in the show) does something called an "American Accent" and I think that will answer your question.

I think what us Midwesterners use day to day what is thought of as an American accent. While visiting Carbon, Indiana, some of the older folks could not understand me from Minnesota. And visa versa.

When I was seven years old, my family moved from Brooklyn NY to New Orleans LA. I definitely thought that I was in another country! Totally different languages in the same country.o_O 18 months later we moved to Dallas TX, and I had to learn a third language. This was in 1961 before Dallas became a more international urbanized cesspool. They still spoke "Texan" then.

Love Frasier! Whoever developed the cast for that show is a genius. Over the top characters without a lot of over acting. Imagine John Lithgow playing the part of Frasier or Niles Crane in that sitcom... just wouldn't have been the same.

'While we're on the topic, I can't help but to think about the movie "A Fish Called Wanda" and how it stereotyped "Americans" as Otto (Kevin Klein). Genius writing, casting, directing and acting. Freaking hysterical movie!

Folks from Chicago in Northern Illinois can’t understand the accents from Southern Illinois which probably is located starting about 50 miles south of the city limits

I have issues with folks from the UPPER Penisula of Michigan. I have no clue what they are saying but they don’t understand me either.
