Does anyone here use a Lenz command station or a non-Z21 / non-DR5000/YaMoRC command stain that supports Xpressnet protocol?
That seems to be a small group of manufacturers.

While searching to see if NCE supported it, I found this info on the JMRI website:

XpressNet is a Command Bus developed by Lenz and used by: Atlas, Hornby, Lenz, OpenDCC (DIY), Paco Canada (DIY), Roco (some models), Viessmann and ZTC Controls.

What are you checking?

My code. My code is currently supporting the Z21 (Roco), which in reality is XPressNet. My DR5000 supports multiple protocols including a Z21 mode, and since my handheld WiFi throttles are Z21 wlanMAUS devices that is what my app supports initially. I have someone with a real Z21 who said he'd help me but I'd like to test it with other XPressNet based command stations.

I'll also be adding WiThrottle support sometime soon which will handle Digitrax (with LNWI module), JMRI, NCE (with WifiTrax module), DCC-EX, etc. I have an LNWI module to test with, and I think I can switch my DR5000 over as well to support Loconet or WiThrottle. I also have the YaMoRC upgrade network chip for the DR5000 which will support all of these so I can test them but I have not yet installed it.

My goal is to make a Throttle that supports as many command stations as possible (and at the same time in case you have for example a Z21 or DR5000 or YaMoRC and an LNWI plugged into the LocoNet).

Update: It also seems TCS supports it with their LCC Command Station

Good morning all!

Another cold day in store. Currently 2F with a real feel of -8. High is only supposed to hit 8F. Next 10 days don't look any
better. Have a few things to do so I have to go out in it today.

Basketball game tonight is away, so the customary Culvers stop is probably in order.

Not much else going on. Usual household chores today.

Have a safe day everyone, stay warm!

12°F here this morning. Good morning folks.

My space heater just about ran me out of my bedroom last night. It was very toasty by 0600. I'll have to lower the thermostat some before bed tonight.

Back to the optometrist today at 0900 to see how the drops have been doing for the eye pressure. I hope they fit me for new glasses today too. I think she has the glasses on the back burner for now until they get this pressure under control.

Might clean track today and run trains. We'll see.

Have a great rest of the week! Servus!

You know how I said I was getting my circadian rhythm reset.

Scratch that.

Sciatica kept me awake after the 2:30 am pee run.

The cat deciding to sit on my hip as I tried to doze didn't help. went down to the recliner and did some light dozing with the cat. Nothing deep. So, I've been up, watched a couple of coaching videos for authors. Then showered.

Cleaned the cat boxes, then water fountain #2 and changed it's filters. Cat should be happy.

Going to head to the grocery and hardware in a while. Shepherd's pie tonight. Chili later in the week. (Tomato soup for Willie)

Good morning from Wisconsin where I have been awake maybe 10 minutes as I start typing. -8f degrees now heading up to 15 later. The winds were gusting up into the 30’s yesterday so it was real nasty yesterday. Right now the wind is at 5mph and gusting to 10 so today will feel lots better than yesterday.

I just looked at the movies for today and I don’t see anything Terry will want to see, I hope. They all looked uninteresting. We are trying to get back into the Tuesday movie groove but we don’t do horror or kids movies. Of the 12 movies listed at our local theater there is one comedy that she might pick but we have seen 2 others listed. The rest are genres we generally pass on

Troy. IU beat Miami for the college football championship. I just checked ESPN.com. That the bigs news around you…

I’m not right, so heading back to the pillow

Morning all,

As I was reading to catch up on all the posts, it felt like Monday and I was wondering why we had 4 pages on a Monday already. Seems to happen when a Holiday falls on a Monday and you spend the day in bed dealing with the crud. Feel somewhat better today and decided to do the fair thing and give back to those other employees who passed it to me....They're welcome! 🤣

Currently 18° and clear with a high 48° later today. Sounds like the weekend is going to be nasty. While it's been mild thus far this year, I now understand why people head south for the winter as well. I'm finding the older I get, the less I like the cold.

get that.

but i have the plans on 4? different K Barriers modules. the idea is to draw them by myself.
because then, i "own" them when i print them, because maybe i will also add them to my shop :)

And i kinda find it funny to draw them by myself. Learning the drawing part is also cool :)

Cheers
Marco
