LOUIS -... We sorta on the same wavelink with the coffeea - cept i use the Keurig with Starbucks Dark Sumatra.
Like many things 😁

I've tried many Starbucks coffees, all incredibly good!

I buy Costco's Kirkland brand 100% Columbian. My wife makes a pot for me every morning in my Mr. Coffee. I take a 24oz cup on the road with me. It's our favorite coffee. When I get home from work, I drink instant coffee, Nescafe Classico Columbian. It is surprisingly good and easy to make. My wife only drinks coffee in the morning.

I like those K-cups but I'm too cheap to buy them.

1. They have chilled vats for their syrups
2. they chill the water before it goes into the fountain machine
3. is it the same syrup? Is it the same concentration? Coke and The Clown aren't talking about that...
4. They use a wide straw, which some claim gives a better taste first sip.
Interesting!

we have a McDonald’s 2 blocks from the entrance to our neighborhood. I end up getting 2 a day. Our McDonald’s still has the $1 any size soft drinks.

I don’t drink coffee, prefer not to drink tea, no longer drink whole or 1% milk due to the carbs and will drink 48oz of water during the day when thirsty.
If I drank that much water, I would never leave the toilet. I don't drink milk...I have some with my dry breakfast cereal and fruit 2 out of 4 days, but what the bran flakes and shreddies don't soak up, goes down the drain. (alternate days = Oat meal, using hot water, and adding blue berries, or a plain Bagel, toasted with fake butter spread or preserves.) I normally drink 3 to 6 cups of coffee in a day, and / have a cup of tea, with a little honey and a shot of Brandy. Today, I did something different, I had 24+oz water, and a 12oz can oz Vanilla coke. (left over from Thanksgiving). Didn't want any coffee. Didn't miss it either. K-cups are getting expensive too. Carbs are not y problem, salt is...almost everything is low salt, low cholesterol.

Good evening: 29° with increasing clouds, low of 25° Today's high 38°, a brilliant cloudless sunny day.
Tomorrow: 43° with Rain beginning after 1500. Overnight, Rain and 35°, and 39° with Rain on Sunday. Wonder where all the snow hype on TV is coming from? Mathematically impossible.

Wife made "Beefaroni" for dinner tonight...Fantastic! even sang the jingle. (Did eat a bit too much, though  ).

I got tired of the same ol coffee from the grocery store. I remember when I was delivering food for US Foods that some of the fine restaurants got this brand Douwe Egberts Dutch brand coffee. So to the internet I went and found this place Enjoy Better Coffee. They had coffee from all over the world. Long story short I tried this brand from Germany that was on sale at the time and had great reviews. I switched to Jacobs coffee. Very smooth and no bitterness.

For K-Cups, I get them delivered from the River place. I usually pay .24/cup for them.
I also got half a dozen reusable K-Cup refillable pods, and use them to make my own. The pods were cheap, and if I do it that way, it costs about a nickle a cup, and I still get the convenience of the Keureg machine.

WHAT is a FROST LINE?

Chilly Morning at 37*.....here in the far corner of the room. Later on the 62* will top things off with all day sunny! Anymore - I am cold below 70* - hard to believe.

Just looked out the window to the north and it was loaded with an even dozen hot air balloons. We usually have about 1/2 dozen - they launch from about 1/2 to 3/4 mile away.

OK, that does it for me, right now! GUY - Good to see you visiting again.
Sorry I missed your Frost line question but I see CambriaArea51 already did.

Here is a Wisconsin map that shows the average depth by area of the state. I am in the bottom area in Dane county

Good evening. Cola wars, cool! Of all the soft drinks diet Coke to me is the most disappointing. This comes from a former Coke drinker and then a Diet Coke drinker. When many orbits of sun ago Coke changed the formula they lost me to diet Dr Pepper. I enjoy an occasional diet A&W root beer or sugarless as it is known by now. I really like the diet/sugar free Cream soda one of the Dr Pepper brands but it’s rarely in our area

Frost Lines, when we lived in North Central Wisconsin we had a plumbing contractor friend who one Winter was making a fortune re-doing water lines because a transplanted Southern contractor didn’t follow code and buried the lines at about 30ā€. He was found out by one of the building inspectors turning him and a few other inspectors in for skipping the codes. He was paying off the inspectors in an entire sub division of house. Early 1980’s.
