Pepsi? Bleeech! Too sweet! If I'm going to drink soda, I'm going to drink what I like, not what I'm willing to settle for. I'm a Coke guy. 😁 Pepsi has no bite. I can find Coke products on sale, and when I do, I just stock up. I can usually find it for $7.99 a case here locally (you have to buy 5 cases, but it's worth the savings). I'm not paying $13.50 a case for anyone's soda pop! Now that I'm down to one kidney, diet soda is off the menu. Too many chemicals bad for the kidneys. I allow myself one a day, and one glass of iced tea. Other than those, it's water!

Good afternoon. I am prepping for surgery this afternoon. Boris needs to lose his legs and maybe some of his thigh area

I am trying to fit Boris into his new ride and it’s a tight fit

A bit of an expense to use a LP from Miniprints but he’ll do as his arms and head are in a good position. I was planning on putting a pin where his butt used to be but I won’t paint that spot and will glue him in place with some CA.

If you hear screaming coming via Wisconsin, just ignore him, he is not getting any Anesthesia

He will get new clothes tomorrow that will be a safety orange color

That’s the way I feel about Coke, no taste and too sweet. It‘s why they offer so many varieties.

Because I’m a diabetic the Endocrinologist would prefer no sodas at all but accepts the 3 diet only a day I do drink. I see her Tuesday and will ask about the diet sodas and the kidneys. She is a tea drink and would prefer I drink that

If we're talking diet varieties, it's close. Full strength with real sugar, Coke has that hard burn on the first swallow that these taste buds crave! I have one in the morning instead of coffee.

My wife could drink light colored diet sodas, the dark, cola drinks had phosphoric acid. That was not good for the kidneys.

I’m not a fan of Coke out of a can, but a Coke from McDonald’s is one of the best tastes created. Don’t know what their formula is, but it it truly addicting to me.

Did you pick up a couple cartons of ice cream while you were there? Thats a great price compared to around here!
No ice cream for me, I'm diabetic. Don't feel sorry for me, I earned it.

I do keep Ice Cream in the Freezer for my grandson, but that has yet to be opened.

Geresbeck's has great sales, but across the board they are right up there with the national chain stores. I like Redner's best, they are reasonable across the board. I had to drive past Geresbeck's on the way home today and we needed milk. I've got to have my glass of milk every day!

I'll go to Redner's later in the week to pick up rye bread from their bakery and the other things I'll find. I can't leave a grocery store without spending $100. My stop for "milk" ended up at $114 and change, but the cart was full!

I'm not above "cherry-picking" deals. Save-A-Lot, Aldi, and several other stores. They are all a few minutes from our house, and I enjoy grocery shopping.

1. They have chilled vats for their syrups
2. they chill the water before it goes into the fountain machine
3. is it the same syrup? Is it the same concentration? Coke and The Clown aren't talking about that...
4. They use a wide straw, which some claim gives a better taste first sip.

They used to have Mr. Pibb too. I think they had the syrup turned up just 5% higher than premixed Pibb you can buy in the stores. It was wonderful, and then (sigh) they switched to Dr. Pepper.
They make Pre-Mix machines for home, but that is a lot of soda in a canister of syrup. I think they use five-gallon bags of syrup in the new machines at a typical 5-1 ratio. Maybe 350 10oz servings? They might have smaller bags for home use.

It won't go flat, but they can be messy. Not to mention they tend to clog if you don't use them much.

I did beer service at Memorial Stadium and often got asked to fix soda machines on beer service calls. It was not my job, but I was right there, how could I say no?
