Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday to Willie
Happy Birthday to you.
And many smores.

If you don't like my singing, you can imagine anyone you like, maybe Yoko Ono or Lady Gaga. Oh wait, you are old. How about Teresa Brewer or Connie Francis. Have a good day.

STAY SAFE
LATER

Ah!!! Teresa Brewer. Music, Music, Music. Put a nickel in the Nickelodeon guys. I grew up on the songs of that era.

Willie. Happy Birthday.

Morning folks

Like Willie, a shopping resupply run this morning.

Willie's reference to an ethanol plant reminded me of this:

This was Grain Processing Corporation's plant circa 1944. At the time, the world's largest ethanol plant. I always thought it would make a great steam era model.
That plant is begging to be scratch built!

Good evening all. I had good intentions on doing this, doing that this afternoon. Instead I fell asleep in the chair. Two days with five grandchildren take it out of me.

My favourite daughter, (she has to be. I only have one ) Julia has arrived. Always lovely to see her. I thought Dawn and I had 'high powered jobs' , but Julia is 'at the top' so to speak. I'd like to think she got 'the brains' from me, but maybe not. Perhaps 'the looks' from me? Definitely not. 🤣

Testing to see if I have challenges posting pictures?

Not me!

Edit - Forgot to mention. You can rent the building on the right. If you do it is free travel on the railway the length of your stay. Where is it? Ravenglass Station on the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway, a 15 inch gauge railway in Cumbria, England.

Afternoon All,

Started out the day with a walk at 60F under a milky looking sky. Today has been spent doing a skunk rescue involving 3 skunks. That took close to 5 hours so no train room today. Tomorrow, I hope to do the wall signage after chores.

Bill- Interesting photos.

Willy- Happy Birthday🎂. That is a nice sized yard/staging area.

David- Nice photo of the "van". Cool loco shot. I say the same thing to my daughter.

Troy- Good progress on the layout. What's the radius?

Joe- A lot of good Pennsy things in the RMC this month.

Hughie- Nice carload.

Smudge- Neat video.

I hope everybody has a good day.

Good evening. 33° at the Rutgers weather station at the Swamp. Going down to 22°

The weekend outlook is a tad weird right now as they are calling for a "Massive Snow Storm" on Saturday and Sunday. However, the daily high is predicted to be 42°, and the overnight low 36°. Something does not compute.

My modeling activity is limited by joint and muscle pain and stiffness.

Happy Birthday Willie!!

Willie-How was that elevator kit to build? I have one to build with two add on silo kits to add.

Any advice on hiding the silo seams?

They aren't to hard to build, mine went together with minimal cussing!

Methinks that is called rain my friend.

Tom @TLOC

Is this the locomotive you were searching for? Looks like Scaletrains is doing another run.

Thanks Mike!

Today was my day off the internet. Around 7pm my wife said please check your phone, you are getting texts like crazy. I had left it in my officebto avoid the internet.

Seems a bunch of others on my weathering group knew I was looking for the WC Heritage unit. 14 messages, so I logged on, read the Scaletrains email and promptly ordered it for basically my 72nd birthday due 9/30/2024, the day after my birthday! They say September delivery so maybe by Xmas 2024 would be great.

I much appreciate the heads up and at $260 it is less NEW then what the bidding on EBay for 1 got to last week
