Patrick -- Is there a simple way to determine what my Windoz Password is?
Do I have to take it to the Geeks?
Geeks won't find it either. They can only reset the operating system, unless they installed a backdoor user. I do that on the family's computers so I can get back in if they forget their passwords.

Never been impressed by the geek squad. Mostly they have to send stuff out and they don't know what they're talking about most of the time, unless it's trying to sell you something.

Couldn't he start his pc in safe mode and log in as Administrator no password and go to control panel user accounts and change his password
Might work

Windows 10 and 11 have the Administrator account disabled by default. About a year before Windows 10 was released, Windows 7 issued an update the disabled it as well.

I know there was a hack in Windows 7 that would allow you to hack the machine with the start up and safe mode, as I've used it, but changed with Windows 10.

Got some treasures from work that they were going to toss out. Some gears and a couple of turbines. Looks like I'm going to need some flat cars and gondolas. Got an idea for one allready.

Hiya Peeps!

I hope everyone is having a good evening!

All you world travelers out there, I can get to Westminster in under 15 minutes, and Blue Ball , Paradise and Intercourse are also a day trip.

But I don't go to Baltimore without conceal carry. Or D.C. for that matter.

Linus has his security blanket,

I prefer a Glock.

The closest I get to Paris is French Toast, French Fries, French's mustard and Champagne. Oh, and a French Kiss. 💋👅

Oh Troy, what's the story behind French Lick? There has GOT to be a story there!

Oh by the way, I assembled some benchwork tonight! 1st time since November!!

Sherril. Don't feel bad my right leg gets temperamental after long walks ever since my stroke. Heck it tries to keep up but it can't. When I try to run, I run in circles! :D

For more news that you may or not care about, stay tuned..

59° and moonlit ground fog. Going to be a mild day tomorrow.

Caps lost to Buffalo in overtime, 5 - 4. Ovie had 2 goals. T. Thompson had a Hat Trick including the Game winning Goal for the Sabres. Good game from a hockey sense, disappointing from a Caps fan perspective.

Otherwise, everything went well today...maybe because I didn't watch any TV news.

Louis - I have to echo what Alan posted about friends and family falling away one by one. If you remember I lost a younger brother exactly a year ago. You have lost your mother as well.
God blessed me with a wonderful family and people who love me. I've known death firsthand since I was eight years old when I lost the man who raised me. He was the father figure in my life. He and his wife are the ones who raised and nurtured me. His wife passed away in 1991. I spent most of my childhood with them. They were parents to me. I was always close to my sisters despite not living with them most of my life.

I did not know my biological father until after I was thirty years old. I took a year and worked with him to get to know him. I gave him a fair chance, but I did not like him. Physically we were much alike, but nothing else in common. His values were not what I was taught. He passed away when he was eighty-nine, he meant nothing to me.

My mom's mom passed away when my mom was only fourteen and her father before she was forty. My mother was a single mom who worked two, often three jobs. She had no safety net, no support. Neither of the two men in my mother's life were worthy of her. I did not really know my mom until my sister Theresa passed away in 2007 and my wife and I began looking after my mom. It began out of obligation, the fulfilment of my dying sister's request. It became a labor of love. Getting to know my mom was a gift from God. It became my pleasure to spend time with my mom. It was no chore, I enjoyed spending time with her. She was an amazing lady. My sisters always told me I am so much like my mother and my wife tells me the same. Last fourth of July my sister Cathie told my wife "They even walk and talk alike" I am so proud to be my mother's son and I miss her very much.

Now, having lost my sister Cathie, I am the only one of my mother's children left, but I'm far from alone. I have a beautiful, loving wife and three wonderful children. Two grandsons and another on the way. My sisters left me two nephews, three nieces. I want them to remind them they are not alone. I also have my sister's nine grandchildren. I love them all! My goal is to get to know each one of them better. I want them to know the great people they come from.

Death is the end of all our stories and that's okay, that's life.

Thank God.

I dunno? Ask Larry Bird?

Or the local news site

and the Wikipedia page has some interesting tid bits about its history.

I've been to the West Baden Springs hotel for an engagement photo session, and a wedding. Nice place. But even with the boondoggle of the I-69 expansion that finally built a highway kinda close to French Lick, it's still a pain to get to it.

Good late evening rail gang. Happy New Year !!

HI Flo, Francine I'd like a large slice of Mince meat pie and coffee. Oh darn, knocked my spoon off counter. I Iove to look at her thighs when she bends over ! 😜
**
It's 46°F with Humidity of 67% & possible drizzle. My location is about 12 miles from the Exact Center of California as years back I saw the large Bronze marker denoting that point.

I haven't been around due to loosing/giving up my internet connection with Mint mobile, the ISP I was using, as they wanted an exorbitant amlost, more than double what I had been paying, so I said to hell with them although I attempted to pay their fee but their system rejected my bank card to my good fortune as signal was to weak to make or receive phone calls from inside my home, a real PIA indeed !!

I just signed up with, 'Hello' mobile for Unlimited everything for $25.00 per month. Let's hope I can get a strong enough signal in my location ?! Right now I reconfigure my phone to once again connect through my old ISP that uses at-t, so I hope I can continue the great connection till I get reistablished with the new Hello ISP and they have a strong signal !!

The Best to e everyone in this New Year !!

Good morning fellers. I hope everyone has been doing well. I don't get by here much anymore. 2022 was a wild roller coaster of a ride for me. Nothing new in the train world for me either. I just haven't had much time to do anything with it. My new build has been on hold for quite awhile. I've made it as far as cutting the wood and that's it. I will be moving in a couple of months as I will be transferring to another facility and heading up the shop there. So there won't be a build any time soon this year. I do hope to have something by the end but I'll have to see what life throws at me. I wanna wish everyone a belated happy new years.

Justin - Good to see you posting again and glad that all is well. Congratulations on the upward move. Keep in touch.

JUSTIN - Great to hear from you again. Here's wishing that life fits into yur basket as needed.
Keep us posted along the way!

KARL - You are in great form -- keep it up!

DAVID - Here is wishing you a good success with your new connections. I know that you have been plagued with communication problems in the past.

FLO .. Hope you have a "FAB" year and to start MEL off this year - I'LL HAVE THE CORNED BEEF HASH with a couple eggs SSU and sour-doe toast! Please mam, throw a handful of bacon on the side!

Out here we are looking at 55f degrees and a high today of 63f with cloudy and more chance of showers.
Yesterday it drizzled most all of the day and with very low clouds, I would guess no more than a 4-500 feet ceiling.
Couldn't see more than the first couple rows of houses on the hills to the south.

TOM - That is quite a haul there. I love to find "stuff" like that - going to be some great loads!

CURT - Praying that all are "hanging in there" this morning?

BBL - friends

I'll share one of my adventures with y'all. Went to Heritage Farms in Huntington, WV at my daughter's request. It didn't disappoint. They have a lot of stuff that deals with the history of West Virginia on top of farming. Was well worth the trip. Here's some of the things I captured there.

The layout is actually housed inside the caboose. There were a few others as well that I didn't capture in other buildings. One was a steel mill layout. One was coal themed. I'll share more if I can find them .
