I'm pretty sure I have the entire series on DVD, plus a couple of extras. If you want them, shoot me an offer, and I'll check to make sure I still have 'em.
I'll DM you

ask if the dip switch is off
That was the problem with my GP30. It came from the factory that way as the tape on it was still in place.

Still have a dvd player?
I have three. I got the one my mother had, which was BluRay, my other two are just DVD.

Speaking of highly overrated actors, I got tired of Kevin Costner. Movies were good, but he sounded the same in all of them. Same tone and inflection whether he was happy, sad, excited, mad, anything. I rewatched that movie where he was the naval officer spy guy and after a few minutes, gave up.

We still have 2. One of them is the VCR/DVD combo. That's how old it is.
Neither of them have been used in years!
We have a few DVD or DVD/BluRay players. Ones hooked up as that’s how many TVs we have in operation. We actually have two Sony combo BluRay/DVD players. Same model but one is from Japan and one the U.S. For BluRay it doesn’t matter but DVD are often region locked. So we have one with each region. Unfortunately the remotes are the same so you open one and both open their doors etc.
I also have a pioneer that was modified to be region free. I found it recently. If I can find the remote then I can use it as a region free player since you have to switch the region using the remote (technically it’s not region free but region switchable). I still have a bunch of DVD from Korea and Japan that are locked.

I have one too! I watched "Frosty the Snowman" on VHS again this past Christmas!
I don't know how many DVD and Blu-ray players we have, I buy too much stuff.
We still watch DVD and Blu-ray movies. We watched "The Polar Express" and "Christmas Vacation" on DVD last Christmas.
I just bought "Star Wars" - The original trilogy on Blu-ray to watch with our grandson.
Forgot to mention earlier today, but it's "Fat Tuesday", the last day of Mardi Gras. Ash Wednesday is tomorrow. Watch for ashes on the forehead in your neighborhood tomorrow.
One DVD player left here, but it's not hooked up. I do have another in my desktop computer as well. It gets used occasionally.
Yup, we still have a DVD player hooked up. Lots of great old movies and shows. Just used it the other night watching Quigley Down Under.

Love that movie! Watched it dozens of times!
One of the best movie lines in film history!
"Said I never had much use for one. Never said I didn't know how to use it"

totally forgot about that part.
I had a DVD/BR player/recorder in my computer but removed it to add an I/O panel as more practical. I still have the drive, but need to buy a 5.25 inch case for it. I have one of those USB laptop drives, but only use it to rip music cds into my computer. I have the X-files, Dirty Harry series, MI series, Matrix series, LOTR, and Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind on BR. I think they're all unopened.
Yeah, I'd watch Quigley down under again. That was a classic ending.
A few screen shots from my work in progress throttle software. Right now it only supports Z21 compatible command stations (Z21, DR5000/YaMoRC, and probably XpressNet ones like Lenz). I will be adding WiThrottle support. You can be connected to multiple command stations at once and run multiple throttles at once. It's not done or shippable yet but I've gotten a ton done recently.
It runs on iOS, iPad, and Mac. However I have not done any work on optimizing it for iPad and only a small amount of work to get it to run on a Mac. You'll see in the Throttle Dock on the Mac screen shots that all is not correct.
There is a Throttle Dock where you can insert a throttle for each train you want to drive. You can insert more than one and it works. There is also a Roster where you can see your list of trains, add new ones, edit them, etc. Eventually you'll be able to have multiple rosters and have a list of them and open each one to look at the trains. Again its a work in progress.
The iPhone pics were taken from the iPhone Simulator, not a real phone, and the Simulator doesn't have access to my real photos library -- just a few canned photos -- so the photos assigned to each train are not real. The Mac based shots are running in an actual Mac app on my Mac, not any sort of simulator, so I was able to use real photos

Beannachtaí na Céadaoin an Luaithrigh. - Wishing you all a blessed and healthy start of Lent
May the simple mark of ashes remind us of where we come from, where we’re going, and the grace that carries us along the way. This day and the season of Lent that follows calls us to walk a little more gently with one another.
I pray this Lent will be a peaceful, and meaningful one, bringing each of us a bit of clarity and renewal.
Well here is a February switch. Fire danger in Southern Wisconsin!
Good morning Coffee Shop, it's Wednesday! It's 52°F and a chance of rain here.
Have a great day!
