Good morning. It's clear and 70. I woke up about 30 minutes ago, when my sinuses spontaneously closed. You tend to wake up rather suddenly when you can't breathe. Ahh, the joys of getting older.

In other news, a week or so ago I had looked at a laptop sleeve on Feebay, and decided $5.99 was too expensive for it. This morning, I got one of their emails that said the seller was making me a special offer for the sleeve: $22.79. Since I'm getting a little tired of the cyber-stalking "offers" for items I haven't saved in a watch list, I let the seller know my thoughts in the comments area when I declined his generous offer of nearly four times the amount I thought was too expensive.

Good morning! It's 25°F in Tipton. Light snow on the ground.

Coffee is on me!
😄

Got it from America's test kitchen YouTube channel
I watch their show on PBS, I love it!

Excellent choice of Olice oil.
Pompeian, Inc. is a food company that was founded in Baltimore in 1906 and produced America's first national brand of imported extra virgin olive oil. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pompeian,_Inc.

This is what all of that looked like. Crisp bottom on the crust, and crispy ring of melted cheese.
It looks and sounds fantastic!

It is late.
Those of you watering down a good drink. I shake my head.
Flo hide the ice.
If I want my liquor cold, I place it in the fridge for a while. No watering needed.
Gentlemen, I respectfully disagree.

Something happens when you pour bourbon over a few cubes of ice. I can't explain it, but it enhances the flavor even more if you swirl the ice and bourbon around in the glass before sipping.

No ice, when it comes to Jameson Irish whiskey, which should be straight up at room temperature, no ice ever! The same goes for Irish Potin, if you can find it.

I never refrigerate liquor. Although I did date a beautiful young lady who liked to keep Goldschlager in the freezer. As soon as she arrived, she would put the Goldschlager in the freezer. We would spend some time together for an hour or so ;) Then play board games. She really enjoyed battleship, but we played other board games too as we sipped the cold Goldschlager. Not my typical kind of drink, but who am I to deny a beautiful young lady's generosity?

Good morning, Everybody,

Thanks to Amazon's generosity (stupidity) we got paid to show up. Which is why I am here now.

@Bill Tidler Jr. Thank you for the coffee!

@bnsf971 I'm glad you woke up. You may be getting old, but you are important to us. And try not to sweat the idiots on eBay. Life is too short to let morons cause us any stress.

@troyphoto I hope you and your cat have a good nap. If you can't sleep explain to me what happens to bourbon over ice if you can.

Louis, I may have asked you before, but have you ever played the board game Pass Out?
I don't think you asked before and no I haven't heard of it. But I will look it up now.

Is this it?
The pass-out game, also known as the choking game, involves teenagers depriving themselves of oxygen to achieve a high, which causes them to lose consciousness and faint. However, this dangerous activity can lead to brain damage, seizures, and head trauma
Not my kind of game. o_O

No, it involves alcohol. Roll the dice, move your token the number of spaces indicated, and perform the task shown on the spot on the board where you land. Last player conscious wins.

Good morning gang!

35° and cloudy looking for a daytime high of 54°. By this time tomorrow we should be down to about 24° as another winter storm comes in for the weekend.

Big white fluffy dogs. We had two dogs on the farm one a beagle Bassett mix, and the other one a great Pyrenees. They were the best of friends wherever you found one of them. Usually, the other one was near very nearby. They were hell on the local groundhog population. The Pyrenees would sit by one groundhog hole, totally motionless. The beagle Bassett mix would dig and claw and bark and howl, and make as much ruckus as he could at the other end of the groundhogs hole. When the groundhog would poke his head out of the other hole to see what all the ruckus was about, the Pyrenees would jump and grab him behind the head by the neck and in a few quick motions there would be a dead groundhog. Quite an efficient little hunting team.

Time for work be back later

Morning all,

Currently 3° and clear with a high later in the mid 20's. The sun should clear what's left of the snow off the roads. yesterday the wife asked if I was going to run the snow machine before I left for work. I told her I'd run it when I got home, but the only snow left was the tracks left by the truck when I backed out of the garage. So I have 2 8" wide bands of snow on an otherwise clean driveway. 3 more years until full social security. Can't wait.
