For cities and towns I much prefer the shorter trailers, like these:

I weathered these up a little too!

Nostalgia time! Remember these? Used to come 6 to a box! Now two to a card for five times the price! I popped the floors off and removed the inner axle from the bogie so they look a little more plausible. You may have to move the landing gear back if you want to hook them up to a cab.

That's all for trucks today! Hope y'all enjoyed. 🙂
Wow very nice collection thanks for taking the time to post them.

This was my last HO Scale Custom Truck I built still need to be finished. There’s lots of Custom and scratch built parts on this one.

Chad, I would love to see Weird Al do a halftime show!

Terry. Congrats again on the new job! May be doing some of that myself soon.

Scale Cars & Trucks, can almost be a hobby unto itself. For the Smokey and the Bandit fans,

This one is 1:87 scale by Matchbox. I've got several still in the boxes waiting for a spot on the expanding layout!

This truck was a $1.99 Grocery store impulse buy. It was green and said "pickles" on the side. A little paint, Microscale decals, ladder and mud flaps and it was ready! I believe it was originally built by Maisto.

He's Back!
Good Afternoon All. Just up from my nap after the big birthday party for my wife in Dallas last night. Spent the night and left around 1:00 this afternoon after a birthday breakfast there. Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do in the Coffee Shop, I'll get to some of that later during the game which I won't be watching. I stopped watching NFL long before the knee!

I did stop by the LHS while in Dallas yesterday and managed to leave more than $350 poorer. At least a dozen vehicles that I will get some pictures of soon. That's it for hobby purchases until the end of the month when (fingers crossed) the four locos from ScaleTrains are unloaded from the boat from China.

Patrick - Happy Birthday.

Nice stuff. it's a shame Athearn seems to have lost interest in their vehicle line. They did some really pretty stuff. You see a few things, trailers and containers mostly, but they aren't devoting the energy to it that they were and it's all very expensive. It's a shame!
They're too busy trying to keep up with Scaletrains. It's been freight cars and engines.

I needed that; a good modeling day!

Finally ran the bus on the west side of the main table, under the track I laid this week. I finished the wiring of the PSX and AR, connected the PSX to the bus, and dropped two feeders and lo and behold - - trains run on the west side!! Only one polarity issue, easily solved. A good day! Wife was not feeling well and watching TV down there, so decided the better part of wisdom would be not to cut the foam and shape that southern curve. I was really tired, also. Didn't sleep super well, and the kids wanted to meet for brunch after church. That resulted in a missed nap - - - not good. So I am quite content that things went as smoothly as they did.

Super Bowl used to be an iconic season ending game played between the top two conference winners of the NFL.
Now, it's it's a freak show, before kickoff on the field, during the game in the commercials and during the halftime. They are so intent to get their freak lifestyle message out to everyone, a "Look at me, look at me" frenzie.
