Morning folks,

Cloudless but along with that, a bit of crispness-17 degrees. Heading up to Clancy, MT to retrieve a set of RZR wheels a friend picked up for me last Sunday. I had a bit of a problem with one last August---

Happy Birthday to your granddaughter Willie! It's also my nephew Shawn's birthday, He was born on Friday the 13th, 1974

It is also the birthday of my crazy redheaded ex wife. I hate to say it but I hope she chokes on her cake!
No worries, Karl, I understand completely. From what I know I may have married her sister or another close relation, or at least from the same gene pool. How could we have been so wrong? Oh well, it only proves "even the best of us make mistakes." We got it right, eventually. All's well that ends well, at least for us anyway. 😁 Thank God!
Louis, your finger must be a sight! Take care of yourself. We dont heal up like we used too!
It looks, feels, and functions much better today, thank you! I'm pleasantly surprised because as you say, we don't heal up like we used to.

Well, howdy there internet peeps and those skilled in hitting little white balls long distances without losing them.

It's Troy again and I much prefer hitting little balls of various colour into the the obstacle courses at a Putt Putt place. I lose less balls that way. If I were to take up duffing, I might as well purchase a basket of new balls, toss them into the sea, and head to the 19th hole.

Been working on "class" work about setting up and advertising to get folks to visit my online Shopify bookstore (only my books are there, don't get your hopes up for the latest from your favorite author.) This is a LOT LOT LOT more involved than I anticipated. I'm also looking at taking my tomes out to various craft fairs, gaming fairs, and scifi-fantasy conventions. My neice works for the convention center in South Bend IN (about an hour-and-a-half away). And there is a gaming con coming up in early Feb. But a booth is $100 if I want electric. Or, only $50 if I don't need it. (Gotta pay the union electrician to plug the extension cord in). I could probably invest that $50 in portable power cells for my phone/tablet and be better off down the road).

For today's video, I'm looking ahead to the summer patio bar. I'm thinking it's TIKI time! Wife likes Rum drinks, so she'll be happy.

Here's a 55min history of Tiki and Booze and Bars

Good morning, all! A cool, cloudy morning here in H-Town. Temp about 55 and not predicted to get very much higher.
I had the dog out this morning and looking around the hobo camp, I think I'm going to have to mow one more time this year. It looked OK until my neighbor cut his the other day.

I married early hence, 3 children, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Willie - Birthday wishes to your granddaughter. My grandson shares the day with her.
Louis - Sorry about the finger.

No train report, so from the archive,

LATER

Afternoon All,

Started out with a walk at 60F and breezy. It sounds like we are getting David's rain this weekend. :( Today was a productive day in the train room. I started out cleaning track. During this I discovered I had a dead switch going into one of the reverse loops (before the isolation joiners and just the T/O). It turns out it was a bad solder that failed so easy fix. I also discovered that my RS1 (QSI Titan) had gone into shutdown, so a double tap of the 6 key on the throttle and it was back in operation.:) A good day in the train room. Tomorrow will be tied up with a VA appointment for Dad at which I will be asking some pointed questions of the Pulmonologist.

Thank you for the kind comments and likes on my photos.

Louis- I hope you can show your middle finger to everyone here soon.:D No issues about the photo. I just misunderstood. You are a very honest man. Happy Birthday to your nephew.

Swal- Great scene. I really like the engine weathering.

Smudge- Idiots are everywhere and multiplying faster than smart people.

David- Congrats on the rain stoppage and surviving the strange yellow orb in the sky.

Willie- Happy Birthday to your granddaughter.

Hughie- Happy Birthday to your grandson. Excellent layout photo. more so because it's N-scale. Is the RH lighted?

I hope everyone has a good day.
