That sounds like a cholesterol thing. HDL vs. LDL.
I imagine the cardiologist would have with my a.. on that as well.

All that talk about wills and trusts and such is easy for me.
I'm alone with no kids. Nearest family member is about 6 hours drive from here.

TERRY- Sure hope your Brother gets as good a report as I did.
Eric - You got that right .

Louis- Only thing I don't like about Lionel , besides prices, is the third rail. Prefer Flyer with its two rail. And no, can't afford them either. I have one Lionel set. FORD Motors Set. Steamer with four cars and a semi on a flat car . Also two cars in Harley-Davidson paint with logos , and LoonyTunes cars with Bugs and Marvin and a gondola with Wiley chasing Roadrunner. Fun Time !

Hope y'all staying warm and well. Prayers.

Phil

Check out this pic of the iron mining which went on many years ago. This is now a massive hole, but the mine is still working!

Everyone have a Great Weekend!!

57 degrees and sunny. Most of the snow has now melted and my stubby legged doxies have no problem going outside to pee.

Time to get ready for Friday night bowling league, and of course, BEER. I will first post the drop down bridge for Skip. Evening all.

Not going to rake today to darn breezy and would do no good as area did last two days covered again.

Terry-Your nephew will come around. Just have patience.

Louis- Darn good advice.
Best wishes to all,
Phil

Phil ... I am pleased to hear the good news ! ... I recall you had some very difficult surgery.

Evening All,

Today was a cleaning day while MOH continued her quilting classes. She has been happy with the classes so that makes me happy. Tomorrow my daughter is picking me up at 8 AM to watch Quintin earn his yellow belt at karate. Later I will go to the train club.

I was thinking about the future project on the back track and I think I will raise it up some more and that will mean that the tunnel will probably be history, but I would really like to put in a trestle bridge with some height to it. I think I can get it up to 4-5 inches tall instead of the current 2.5 inches.

Phil- Great news on your check up. I thought Lionel has both 3 rail and 2 rail options?

Logandsawman- Great picture.

I hope everyone has a good night.

Garry- I'm as pleased with my good news as you were with your good news re your heart. Yep,surgeon was inside me for 5 1/2 hours. Esophageal cancer. Sectioned out cancerous mass and reattached to stomach. Sheesh, I slept through the whole thing.
When you gonna post more pix of you layout Mighty fine.
Curt- Yours is just as good.
Oh hell! I'm backing myself into a corner. RAY! Yours are great also. I know I'm in big doo-doo.
Curt- as to Two and three rail Lionel, I have no idea.

Hope you yankees have a slow warm up so not to have any floods. Y'all be careful. Prayers,
Phil

My brother passed away this morning at 4, after a brief rally. My nephew and I will be making final arrangements over the weekend. He was 67.
Again, thank you for all the well wishes, prayers, and good thoughts.

Terry I am very sorry for your loss. I hope your faith will comfort you and your family knowing he is in a much better place now,

The hardest part of growing old is losing loved ones along the way.

Times like this make me realize how fragile life can be.

I want everyone to know how much I appreciate your posts; the pictures, your thoughts and various information. This forum and the members who make it great has become an important part of my life, thank you everybody.

Tell me about it Louis....lost a handful of close friends before I had even hit mid 20's, illnesses, accidents and suicide, made me grow up quick...
My thoughts are with you and your family Terry...

Same here 113, I lost a half a dozen friends to the 'rock n roll" life style when I was young, but the ones that hurt the most are the ones we lose suddenly and unexpectedly to natural and accidental causes.

True Louis, true indeed....one of my best friends in younger years passed due to cancer, I was the only that still playing with him and the only one attending his last birthday, his 12th...another got a ton of steel on top of him, when the racking at his work capsized..
