I'm finishing up bracing on my table work this evening.
My neighbor took me to the Home Depot for the rest of materials - without notice.
I needed some wire strippers amongst the other stuff. I found them just fine.
But couldn't read the AWG it covered. I left my reading glasses behind. A feller next to me had glasses on so I asked him to read it for me. Talk about the blind leading the blind!
We figured it out and happily thanked him and was done shopping within 5 minutes easily.
Took longer to get out of the checkout.
It's all good.
I'll finish off this table tonight unless my heart decides to give me troubles. Nothing serious - tachycardia/racing heart. Really, it's only when I start loosing breath when it really bothers me.

In the mean time I'm juggling web site updates for something I'm a co-founder of.
Dam work! I want to play with my trains!!!

Evening All,

Started out today washing sheets and cleaning bathrooms. After that I decided to cut the grass. Unfortunately while doing that I ran over the main drain clean out plug..sigh..I knew there was a reason my son normally cuts the grass! Well 3 trips to Lowes (for that and other things) and the successful trip to Ace Hardware, I finally had a 6 inch plug that worked. Based on this I never made it to the train room other to look at the dyed ballast which looks great.

Tomorrow my son and I are going to see "American Sniper" and I hope to do the experiment on my layout running 2 trains at the same time in different directions (single loop main in a folded dog bone). Theoretically it should work but the question is how will it work out in practice.

Just a suggestion here, based on the voice of experience: use cheap engines the first time...

I'm high balling as your own signature line says.
But I hear what you're saying. One day will come when I have absolutely nothing to do and I'll be "jonesing". I always manage to find a little something to do like clean up. That's what I did yesterday. I honestly didn't really expect any orders to come in today but dang if USPS didn't show up around 0930 with stuff.
Not really anything I could do much with at the time.
The cool stuff is supposed to come tomorrow!
I did finish the table off all the way tonight however. Pretty good considering I've been up since around 0500 hours and haven't had a bite to eat.

Catch you all tomorrow! I'm sure to be up early again like the kid on Christmas day.

32 with partly cloudy skies with the moon and stars peeking in and out as the few clouds pass by.

I got a new basketball game for my PS4, "NBA Live 14" (new to me) I think I will give that a try.

Good morning, America, how are ya? It's 34° in America's heartland with clear skies. High today of 42°, turning cloudy tonight with a rain/snow mix but little accumulation. Supposed to get back to around 40° tomorrow with a fairly good forecast for the next eight days. Pretty good for this time of year!
