Thanks Flip!

Those shop switchers were interesting critters. I have one of them on the roster:

Beautiful model Alan!

Good morning. It's clear and 38. Heading for a high of 39, which I think we've already had.

Good morning everyone.

40 with clear skies in southeast Baltimore.

My grandsons are off to school this morning, I will miss them.

Have a great day everybody.

Good morning everyone. Something's up with the weather out here. 4 degrees last night and at 0430 it was 31 and at 0530 it was 35. Radar shows snow all around us, but no new snow on the ground. Don't really have and room for it any way. Guess we'll see what happens.

Really like the little shop switcher. Cool.

Montanan, the weather forecasters are saying that a storm system over western Montana will be heading our way and will skirt just to the north of where I live and will bring snow and cold temps with it............down to -11° at the coldest with up to 5" of snow. It's about 5° now. I hate winter!

I'm really getting tired of winter already. We have not been above the low teens for quite a while and I am running out for room to pile snow. In the early 80's we had a period of 45 days where the high temps never got above zero. I didn't mind it back then, but I am getting a bit too old for this.

Is it April yet ?????

Good morning, 37° and sunny. Temperatures will decline all day. High was 47° at midnight. Big difference from last evenings 63°, eh?

Howdy ...

Karl ... Actually, I have been a passenger on some old interurban trains when I was young. I like the photo you posted.

Alan .... That's a nice model otf the SP shop switcher.

Personally, I'll take the heat any day. It doesn't make your fingers or toes hurt, you have to wear fewer items of clothing (a plus with members of the fairer sex:)) and you don't have to shovel sunshine!

Haven't experienced a proper winter here in the UK for donkeys, but then again, would they get the winter/winters that I'm used to, this lovely would stop!

Maybe that's not such a bad thing....lol

Hope that you're all doing well gentlemen!

Bob, warmer weather may be on it's way to you. Got up to 44 degrees today instead of the winter storm expected. Managed to move the snow piles alongside the driveway. Had about 7 feet of width and now maybe 12. Hope the warmer weather gets to you soon.

I'm hoping so too but the weatherman says a low of -12° Tuesday night with cold temps through the weekend. Got about an inch or so of snow today with up to 6" predicted just north of us before it's all over.

Evening All,

Just finished watching the train show on RFD channel. It was very interesting tonight talking about the Chinese 2-8-2's that have been brought to the US for excursion trains and the history of the Susquehanna RR. Earlier today MOH and I cleaned some upstairs windows that we did not do before the holidays. I also mounted a light under the open shed covering cattle feed by the stock yards on the layout. Tomorrow is towel washing and house cleaning day.

Karl- That is so true. People are always complaining about the weather, me included.

I hope everyone has a good night.

It was 3 above last night and 31 this morning. It should get to you in a few days hopefully. Iowa and Minnesota is all snow moving your way with what we have behind it. Put another log on the fire.
