installing shock track
That reminds me, I need to put the anti-cat strips up on my vertical overhangs to keep the birds from hanging out. I had to remove them for the repaint.

When I lived on base, I installed some suspended wire on the porch overhang for the same reason. I just opened the 2nd floor window, climbed out and glued them in place.

the other cuts in in squares
Yeah, that surprised the heck out of me one time when I ordered Dominos take out in Hawaii. First delivery pizza I had in over 15 years. I called the store after I opened it to ask who wants pizza cut like this and if they gave me a reject. They told me that some people ask for it. I told him that I did not and never again ordered from them. The reason why I don't prefer that cut is because you don't get the crust on every piece, which is what I like.

That reminds me, I need to call Spectrum in the next few days to see what, if any, promotions are available for internet, as my $40/mo promotion ends next month, and the rate more than doubles.
Something kind of disturbing happened today around noon. I got an unsolicited call from an internet service provider wanting to sign me up.
A few hours after I mentioned it here, and only here.
Of course, the internet provider is only in Texas, and they acted surprised that calling a Tampa phone number might actually connect them to somebody in Tampa, instead of Texas...

I think something got changed I hope anyway Network Solutions is no longer listed as the server for the forum

So either Bob changed to someone else or took that off the info at the bottom of screen

log ins are fairly quick but just a little slow sometimes switching to different subjects

anyway it's great

Around here it depends on where you go. 2 of our favorite pizza joints do it differently. One slices it in triangles and the other cuts in in squares.

The one we use for carry-out and delivery doesn't cut it at all. You slice it at home so its your discretion. My wife and daughter prefer triangles and I like it cut in squares.
As a Chicago boy I prefer squares. As a Wisconsinite the past 53 I have learned reluctantly to accept stupid cut triangle pizza. Home pizza is yummy and Terry has learned to cut it into squares!

While I can't comment on that, I have noticed that something good happened yesterday and there have been no issues for 36 hours now.

Good morning, all! H=Hot, Humidity and Houston.

On this date in 1946 the number one song was “To Each His Own” — Eddy Howard
It is also the birthday of
Wilt Chamberlain, Count Basie, Kenny Rogers, Archie Griffin, Kim Cattrall
Usain Bolt, Jackie DeShannon and .......... wait for it ............. Texas Hobo.
Not so long ago I thought 80 was old. Now that I have arrived, I may have to adjust my thinking. 90?
I think we are going to our favorite Tex-Mex eatery for fajitas and sopapillas. This plan is contingent on the lawn guy showing up early.

Maybe some train time later.

STAY SAFE (don't eat the lit candles)
LATER
Happy birthday Hughie. 80 or 90 it’s just a number

If a detroit style pizza, I can understand squares since the pie is rectangular.

Chicago I'd think spokes.

My cousin owned a pizza chain in Hawaii and his pizza was thin crust rectangle, so it was cut into squares.

Howdy folks, it hit 98 here today, but thankfully the AC was cranked up at the Expo Center where we set up. I helped on getting the HO stuff in and most of the modules set up before I had to go and help set up the TTrak layout. Much easier handling those than the HO ones! Also got my stuff for sale set up , hopefully I can sell off most of the stuff I am taking. Gonna go take a much needed shower and relax.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUGHIE!
