A late check in for me.

Willie-must be going around because I woke up feeling terrible as well. Hope you feel better soon!

Another beautiful day in store. Currently 65F heading up to around 75F. Slight chance of rain this evening but not a very
significant chance at all.

Not much going on around here, and I doubt there will be today.

Well, howdy there internet peeps and those with knees.

Mine ache a bit today. Probably comes from not walking much all summer. I made sure to get my morning walk in today... and yesterday... and the day before... and the knees are grumping. Running up and down stairs probably isn't helping either.

So I got the orange tube of "Arthritis Pain Reliever" gel out, and smeared it on the knees. I'm now sitting with my pant down for a few minutes to allow it to dry and not rub off on the jeans.

I also took an Ibuprofen. Should be back to abby-normal in half an hour.

Lumber has been purchased. I'll cut that this afternoon, while I'm tending to the grilled meatloaf.

In other news, I sent THE email to my fellow leaders on the gaming blog I edit. Told them it was my last season, and tried to start the discussion of whether they should shut down the blog. Our writers are more 'write-nots" and only get excited about stories when they get free product from a game companie. At our height, we were publishing Mon, Wed, and Friday, with a podcast coming out most tuesdays. Right now we're so hit and miss that I'm lucky if we publish twice a month.... then a new book for one of our two main games hits, and we get five stories out in a week.... then crickets for three more months...

So, I told them I'm selling off most of my gaming stuff. keeping a few armies, but I'm going to get a flea Market table at the upcoming convention and try to sell a lot of my old stuff off. When my Model Railroad benchwork is storing more gaming stuff than I have track laid, my hobbies are out of balance.

So... we'll see what they say...

60F @ 52% pretty clear. Been 100F for the last 2 days between 1400 and 1800 - crap.

Hearts go out on the Minnesota shooting.

Concrete comes in tomorra @ 0700. Have some 20Yo's lined up for mucking. I be the water boy.

I turned in my hearing aids for repair 3 days ago. Have not heard anything since.

Good morning. Brats and burgers were excellent yesterday. Gonna have 'em again for lunch today. Another great day in Southern Illinois today. High of 78°F expected.

The water smells a lot better with the new water heater. I can't describe the smell, but it's good. No change in taste.

That is true for most, except for a few. Meths-heads (tweakers) for instance. They are stone cold crazy!

If you get into a scuffle with a tweaker who is high, hit him hard, hit him often and never let up until he is unconscious. Only PCP can allow someone to take so much punishment as a tweaker can take when they are high. If the tweaker is crashing from a high, he is harmless barley able to move.

Afternoon, folks. It's 96F and 51% out here on the patio today.

Got my kitchen pantry cleaned out yesterday (finally!), and watched a fun rocket launch. That's about it.

Today I'm playing fast and loose with the Like button while I catch up on the coffee shop, and now I'm going to go stick my head back in the sand and ignore the world for a while.

I've been getting the reschedule your Fedex delivery phishing /scamming emails for a few weeks now, a few times a day (across my email accounts).
