Sent you a DM. I just downloaded it from the archive.@Texas Hobo Happy Birthday!
Does anyone have a copy of the February 1979 Model Railroader? There was an article called Timesaver in a Loop, and I would love to get a scanned copy of that trackplan.

Speaking of haircuts, I cut mine today. Pretty close to "high and tight". 3/16 and 5/8.Get yourself a Flowbee!![]()
Got an odd question to ask of this group having so much esoteric knowledge.
Is a 1972 Lincoln head penny with a blank back worth anything?
My MIL passed away in April and left a couple coffee cans and gallon jar of coins. A few weeks ago, I separated the coins and divided into piles to split with her brother.
Once home, I emptied the 5 gallon water jug of its 6 inches of coins we have dropped pocket change in over the last 20 years and added them to the coins from my MIL.I pulled out old coins like wheat pennies, buffalo nickels, silver dimes and quarters, a few half dollars and a couple silver dollars. As I checked the penny backs for wheat pennies, I found this blank back penny.
I rolled over $20.00 in pennies and deposited $182.00 from the coins, not quite enough for a new DCC engine.
Yes, that looks like the coin.LIke this? Off center front and blank reverse? $10-$20 depending on condition.
Send some of it up our way. We have gotten missed most of the summer!Unexpected.
And it's still raining a little...
Happy birthdayGood afternoon, all! We are currently at 88 degrees, possibly soaring to 100 again. Today at 2:17 I will begin another orbit. It's the 40th anniversary of my 39th birthday. How I got this far?
Rocking chair!Happy Birthday Hughie. Southeast Texas will be rocking tonight!
I had even lower readings. It is amazing what God's creations can endure.Damn! I don't know if I could survive with BP readings that low!
I'll believe it when I see it. I just thought it was interesting.I don't know how serious that MLB re-alignment is, but it will never happen in my lifetime. Not that it really matters to me as I don't follow baseball at all.
Happy Birthday!!!40th anniversary of my 39th birthday.
I've been using a Wahl clipper for close to twenty years. No.1 attachment for the sides, No.2 for the top. My wife checks to see if I missed any "wild hairs" in the back which I do more often the older I get. I use the same lightweight synthetic oil for the clipper that I use for my trains.I bought a Wahl clipper during covid and it still works, although I just ran out of clipper oil.
A great spot to watch your Astros. They ended their mini skid against my Birds, in Baltimore, on national TV no less! Opponents don't want to let the Astros carry the lead into the late innings. The back end of the Astros bullpen is tough to score on.Rocking chair!
Isn't that spelled "awahl"?We have two Wahl clippers and they’re both awol since we moved.
