Earlier I mentioned the missing package that had/hadn't arrived, and got lots of advice from everyone, so thank you all.

At 19.42 I contacted the seller via fleaBay, (they have an online store there) and sent a message explaining what had happened regarding the item.

At 19.45 I received a reply, a replacement will be sent tomorrow.

My faith in humanity has been restored.

Last year it was two £300 loco's I nearly lost, but no, we don't have post boxes we can rent

What’s with the boxes in supermarkets where you can collect deliveries, I have not paid much attention, in general we use Amazon a lot and on the odd occasion we gave been short we have complained been believed and resent refunded or even an extra for apology, one guy did not believe us, we were shorted - we just don’t buy from him again, we once almost complained over a missing bar of chocolate but luckily moved the box and it had slipped between the cardboard layers, luckily we did not complain so did not end up feel bad of a 1.50 slab of 90 percent lindt chocolate, yum yum

The bottom line is simple - No Political, Religious or Sexual conversations. They are the rules in accordance to forum conduct, like them or not.

The reason that such rules exist is to prevent hostility and unwelcome comments. It is to aid in the maintenance of civility and social conduct.

If people want to discuss Politics, Religion or Sex - then use the Private Conversation thing, that is what it is there for, or one reason it is there.

OK then. Looks like Joe in the UK has solved Smudge's problem. Now the only remaining issue is, does Tony use USPS, UPS, FedX, NHL or Amazon to ship cats to Mike?

Lets see now - USPS might be the best, but their packaging isn't the greatest ? Fedex'll loose them for sure! UPS will get them there but wont hang around for a signature, like fedex and DHL, well they'd probably end up with @Smudge617

I'm afraid, Mike will just have to come and collect them

Okay - so last night our slightly domesticated feral cat had two kittens on out front door step - literally. Did I say two ? Well, as it turns out, she decided to have bloody FIVE of the little buggars!! BUT, they are darn cute

Now if only she would move them from infront of the door so we can get in and out

First of all, I do agree with what you posted, however there are no rules that explicitly forbid Political, Religious or Sexual conversations. The actual rule states:

However I think that we all agree that in the interest of civility that we all avoid certain topics. Previously it was only politics and religion that were frowned upon. "Likely to offend" covers a lot of ground.

In other news, I found the fence guys while out on my walk. Asked if they had any scrap fence board. Orange-shirt guy (now in a grey shirt) pointed at the work trailer and said they had a bunch they'd been ripping down to fit gaps. I could grab one of those.

So, I've got a green treated of the same quality as our fence I'll cut to fit and install as a kickplate underneath to fill the gap.

On the health side: Wife is mobile. Headed outside for a walk despite her Coof-19. I'm still living in the basement except for my morning "constitutional" and shower time. I use a different bath than her. So far <knocks wood> I'm not showing symptoms. I'll be isolating this weekend just to make sure. No game store stuff.

With four jabs of the RNA vax, and a bout on my own last year, I'm hoping my immune system is kicking butt. But I'm trying to help it all I can by avoiding the plague woman upstairs.
